they'll still want to get something of actual value for him as it's perception as much as anything - he's the highest paid player on their list and very much the 'face' of the club i think we'd be surprised who has the most value from our side from other sides; top three could well be: jacob van rooyen trent rivers kozi pickett i think they're probably the only three that would realise multiple first round picks, unless someone such as petracca was on the list would i swap any of them for max king? not on your life! but do i think they'd be the first three names the aints would mention? you betcha -

I gotta admit i was coming around to the notion that part of max king's problem is that he's at the aints it seems players who leave there get better after a few years out of their system i was thinking whether we should go all in and other him the big contract / them the multiple picks and hope we can sort out his complete lack of competitiveness? and then i watch him play and remind myself that no, definitely not, we do not want what he brings - which is not a great deal at half time he had 3 possessions, 0 marks, 0 score involvements finished with 10 possessions, 3 marks, 2 behinds, and 2 additional score involvements he's on close to $1m a year no thanks

given how tall meth coke are, wouldn't surprise me to see tomlinson retained if petty is out it's either time to blood jefferson or fullarton, albeit the latter looking better for being the #1 ruckman at vfl level and if petty is hamstrung then it should be jefferson coming in i guess we wait and see re fitness of salem and bowey; i wouldn't be rushing either back in

fullarton was much better as a ruckman today definitely assisted by playing there continuously due to verrall's concussion sestan impressive second half, bill laurie consistently mid, while pup brown and howes are starting to get that 'too good for vfl' look about them - not quite there but getting there
