MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 12
Gorgoroth replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Its a forum discussing what we think of the changes... Its all opinions... Kent or harmes wouldn't have got a kick on stratton last week either. Garlett takes the best small defender. Kent and Harmes don't. Jeff has two bad games. Kent and Harmes have had about 6 good quarters each. -
MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 12

Difference for me is Jeff takes the best small defender. At his best. He is the best of the three. Harmes had been the poorest. His goals vs the lions where in the last when the game was won. Jeff world's the hardest or the back which can stretch the defense. Jeff can also go in the middle and get clearances. -

Need a "Do it for Nasher" banner for the players to run through. -

Viney with one hand is still better than most, tell him to track sidebottom all game.

He says it for every game... -
I wouldn't mind he accidentally reversed into Treloar. Just a one week injury would be fine.

The Jesse Hogan Panic Room - all contract talk here
Gorgoroth replied to Grapeviney's topic in Melbourne Demons
Yep, ask them.what they thought of his finals. Over the whole finals he was in their top 3 best players. -
If true. He is showing as much awareness in this contract as he does streaming out of the backline. To answer discussion above. He doesn't get penalised as much, he usually gets a disposal add he gets tackled, but they usually go straight to the opposition who waltz in for a sausage roll.

I know it Jaded. It's surrounding us on many topics. -
I haven't been to any casey games so I can only go on what tv I've seen and what i read. Neither look ready for selection and I am not sure they would on form I've seen. Correct me if I'm wrong, but they would need to play some good games in a row to earn a game.

I think 2 weeks is about right. Its more a forearm than a point of the elbow. Just in comparison to Hawkins its a farce.

If its 4:40 i need to take tge next day off work or have sod all sleep or even 3:20 which means get home, and go to sleep. 1:10 on a sunday suits me much better -
Nah, Garlett is more likely to bounce back with a good game, Harmes has been average for a while, other than the three goals in the last vs Suns I think it was.
-
Ben Ken for Harmes is a no brainer.
-
In Ben Ken. Out Harmes. Thats all thats needed.
-
I'll be interested to see how we go against the, in 9 weeks time. I liked Frost down back, he did try a few kicks he shouldn't have in the wet and Omac as a third tall is better than as a second tall.

People are so caught up on speed. Mitchell, Lewis, Hodge none quicker than trenners, Scotty Thompson, swanny no quicker. All champions. Blease, Lewis Jetta etc all much quicker... He uses the ball well and competes. As long as he picks up the game plan and plays within his ability he will be a bloody good footballer for us. His fitness base is so far behind everyone else it's not funny. Next year after a full pre season we will see Trenners as a very valuable player for us.

Garland had his cheek broken last week. He won't play this week.

To be the best you need to hate losing. I don't think enough of our players do. Viney leads the way in this category, let's hope this mindset becomes the norm.
