Watched the game on delay, was a cracker, both offences played very well and both D got beaten on the day. I think Love would be copping a spray from coach for nearly blowing the time. But a fun game to watch.
  2. I’m just flat. A few years ago I thought we had turned the corner and had some genuine stars and good culture and a sustained run at being a good club…. And in true Melbourne fashion it was all gone in a blink of the eye.
  3. 2059 at best the way we do things 😋
  4. I don't know if this is the right spot, but I have this feeling we are about to bottom right out again and try and rebuild when another team comes into the comp... MFCSS in full effect.

Same player just had a holding penalty against him as Taylor ran it in 53yrds. Not a great day for Mitchell

Colts player takes it 80 yards and half a yard out going for the early celebration loses the ball out of the endzone, no score, turn over. Massive brake for the Rams. Stafford has once again missed some passes he normally hits.
  8. Sooooo…. Anyone got some of that good news stuff….
  9. Well you are obviously a person of good musical taste! I hope it’s the same set he played last year at Brutal Assault. It was killer!
  10. Mines better. You should join the cult of Abbath! Many a great profile he has given us.
  11. That’s actually not a bad option, if we get enough and GC do want to get a pile of seconds and thirds we might be well placed.
  12. And if it’s an Aussie act? The views would be in the hundreds, low thousands. But people across the world will see and hear of a game called AFL. That would be in their thinking as much as anything else.
  13. I would have loved it if Hugh won (had money on him to win), but first half he was just ok, once the tag went to Charlie he got going. And the game was well in their control. Hodge for me got it right with Fletcher, watch the first half again and see Fletcher calmly repel the cats when the game was at its hottest, he drops away a little in the second half when the ball lived in the lions half. But I don’t think he wasted a single possession. He had 29 with 6 intercepts. He was BOG for me.
  14. Simple, who is truly good enough in Australia? And before you a see that, I mean, who will reach a global audience like the Snoop Performance would do. Just having Snoop play means a lot of people globally will watch that clip meaning more revenue for the AFL and channel 7.

  16. I agree keep him, and yes I know we arent getting pick 5+ which is why we should keep him. Rejecting 2 first round picks that will be late teens early twenties isnt worth trading him for, those guys may or may not be any good and the cnahces of them matching petraccas output is very low. People have cracked it with him over last year and I get that but known talent for speculative picks... in the words of my dear friend at the Rams "[censored] THOSE PICKS"
  17. I would. 14 is really 20ish in a weak draft and they wont finish low net year so another pick 14-20ish. No where good enough, Would take a pick 5 and another around 14 for me to look at it and then i'd still say no.

Yeah they are piling up and they is always a breaking point. How has the carry load been for CMC the last two games?

Witherspoon out was and is huge, Dotson going down and Fiske running at about 70% Our secondary isn't to bad, but we are quite small and slight so the big receivers get us. Colts this week will be very interesting and then yeah the week after... Bosa is a massive loss and you hate to see ACL's, did the Niners walk under ladders kicking black cats mate?
  20. Maybe they pay less if they dont have the stars and people potentially being traded in the calendar 😁
  21. Is it an official calendar or one a company has made?
  22. May is December too....

I don't think they went too conservative. They didn't score enough TD's in the first and had to take the FG's. Lost our RT for a bit and they got great pressure from there after the injury and when he came back in the fourth we were better, a few drops, a few passes that Stafford would normally hit all day long he over threw, the non PI call hurt, the taunting call really hurt and the blocked FG's you cant fathom. But I think McVay thought the D would continue holding and they didnt, Hurts started hitting Brown down the field and they got confidence. I'm just going to take solace in the fact we pushed them and should have won this one and we can compete with the best.

26-7 up part way through the third is a choke in my book. I mean the scored a TD off the second blocked FG so we really lost by 1, but up by 19 you shouldnt lose.
