  1. After all the DLers went to bed tonight and I was still buzzing, I actually went back through the archives to find this and did!
  2. Best moment of the night. I felt my heart get a much needed sigh of relief when Hogan won the contest and the goal was just gravy.
  3. The stats don’t lie. That is a very good effort from a backline copping it right now.
  4. Everything there looks good but I’d go 5 or 6 at best for Jones
  5. Did his job and never stopped working. Definitely an in close player. Still needs to raise it another gear but happy to give him another shot next week.
  6. Generally one of the more unlucky players in the competition really.
  7. I love what he’s brought to our club. Yeah he’s had his moments but from all accounts he’s great on the track, promotes the club so well in media and bleeds professionalism. We only see about 20% of what the people inside the four walls see.
  8. I’m sure this will all be discussed once the smoke settles! You’re not wrong
  9. Definitely an interesting contract. Never thought they would give in and cough up the 5 years. Still can’t break a good tag.
  10. I know it’s been said countless times already this year, but it’s really nice to see some some hardness in the no.4 jumper
  11. I’d like to rest Hogan but we’d want to choose carefully who to bring in. Could really upset the balance if Weed comes in and just lugs around. This is no game to take easy
  12. Clayton Oliver announced himself tonight if he hasn’t already done that countless times already. He showed some much needed class when it seemed no-one else could, that little play in the middle where he got it over the top to Brayshaw (think it was him) in the third, wow. Class above this guy, class above.
  13. I think this is pretty spot on. Melksham stiff though.
  14. Whoa! Sick joke is an understatement! But hey we won so I’d say it was worth it? Haha
  15. He showed me tonight why he’s in the side. Pressure acts, good tackling, didn’t shirk the issue. Narrowly missed out on my player of the year votes.
  16. Tonight was a first for me. It was the first time in my life that I desired a cold shower and had one. The reason being I was absolutely sweating bullets after that game. Gee whiz. Feel so invigorated right now
  17. 6. Oliver 5. Harmes 4. Brayshaw 3. Gawn 2. Lewis 1. Melksham
  18. Absolute stellar performance from Harmes tonight. Was the biggest takeaway for me.
  19. I thought he was good? Not as clean as I would have liked but who was?
  20. It was not pretty, it was not easy, it was actually pretty damn ugly and we did not particularly play well for the majority of the game. But my friends, all of that means precisely bugger all right now. The only thing that matters was the result and we did it. The game was not on our terms early but we just kept grinding, when the Crows came back hard and the memory of last week fresh in their minds they held firm. An outsider looking in may not understand why this was such a great win. But to hang on like that will do wonders for the mindset. We will restore the belief that we can do great things in this game. The was NOT a flat track bullies game from MFC. Dees, you did us proud!
  21. My word I will honestly be watching Rd 23 from the hospital.
  22. 1 minute to make a name for yourselves
  23. The psychological demons are here to stay
  24. Can’t take much more of this
  25. Need some serious character here
