Sterling quarter of footy. 6 marks inside 50 and delivery some of our best this season. Leading tackles 21 to 12 as well. If we started more games this year with even half this intensity I'd have no doubt we'd be playing finals.

PREGAME: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
What else can you say in a pre game thread a few days out these days? "Please pick a good team tonight"

Time to go Goody?
Is there a numerical figure of how many learnings we need to be a good team?

Time to experiment
If I could pick one it would be JVR as a defender. Maybe Howes at HFF.

Been busy the last few days, in short: How was it careless? Why was it not dismissed as just a 'football act'? Why do we keep hiring Adrian Anderson?

PREGAME: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
As much as confidence fluctuates in watching Jeffo at the moment I don't see any reason to drop him. We have absolutely nothing left to lose this season and might as well get some games into him.

POSTGAME: Rd 19 vs Carlton
There was no need to go to the butcher this weekend because both sides were serving up their best tripe with skill errors galore in the midfield.

PODCAST: Rd 19 vs Carlton
Felt we were caught in two minds with ball movement this game. When we moved quick from the back we actually looked good, there were times when it looked like we were favouring bombing to pockets though. There will always be times to do that but does it seem like there is too much confusion in our approach right now?

Forward line fixed (for the time being)
Forward line is not fixed and it never will be.

POSTGAME: Rd 19 vs Carlton
So what you're saying is that if there was a ladder for good performances but hard done by the umpires we're on top? Can you remember the last time someone looked back at an underachieving team and said "That side were good and really could have challenged for bigger things, their problem was that they always got the raw end of the stick with the umpires." If we knew half a thing about what we were doing we would have romped that game in. Carlton were and are not good. They actually butcher it as much as we do!
