  1. Oh yes. He loved to play well in front of a big crowd, and usually did. By the Time John Northey was coach Willo was mainly a dangerous forward, often kicking 3-6 goals a game. Before “The Wiz” there was Brian Wilson In 1982 i saw him play St. Kilda at Moorabbin. His Centre work was an absolute clinic that day. I think it was the first time I noticed him as top shelf. Willo is right up there with the Melbourne Legends
  2. Yes i will never forget the finger to the Members!! At the time I didn’t love it though We got him to 200 games and then we got the Finger!! Jack Viney and Willo make the number 7 special He gave an umpire mouth to mouth back in ‘88 i think after he was badly winded in a collision
  3. Willo was a magnificent player, always looked for the best option. Loved to kick a goal, particularly against The Filth.
  4. That was a fantastic piece of play. He meant that, and delivered it perfectly to Mr Ed. The ball bounced up right on cue
  5. If it was later in the Season, I think we would have contested the severity Round 1 too much Media scrutiny Kozzie can sit with Goody and Richi for 2 weeks
  6. You are dead right mate. He is an upgrade on Hunty (no disrespect to him) I hadn’t thought of that. Yes if Judd can be that clean and be at pace with the game, on debut he will be a solid member of the team. Very impressive
  7. I agree. He does a lot of work that goes unnoticed, that said his game could definitely improve, but guys like Harmes and TMac are strong, they do loads of weights and do it for the team. With Kozzie out, Harmes will be even more important to shut down opponents drive.
  8. That jumper is hideous just shows how magnificent our Home strip really is
  9. Quiet, i define as not very damaging. The possessions they got didn’t have a great impact
  10. I will happily watch the game again Libba Treloar and the Bont were all fairly quiet in the 2nd Half
  11. Harmes kept The Bont very quiet, he did it very quietly Suprised you didn’t notice that
  12. Yep. I am not saying he wasn’t rusty. Clearly his marking was off kilter, but he gave Benny valuable space
  13. That’s right. Goal assists Tom did a lot of that in the GF as well He is very good at it. The Coach(s) would be well aware of what TMac does. If we can get 2 goals a game out of him, plus all his strength work, then he becomes a very important contributor.
  14. It’s not hard. Last year Ben was getting 3 opponents Last night he was free to run and cover ground TMac played an effective team role. He will get better
  15. Of course. But Brown doesn’t kick 4 goals if TMac isn’t there
  16. Absolutely 100% TMac is a very important cog in the Forward line Wouldn’t suprise me at all if his game today was exactly what Goody asked for. Free up Brown
  17. TMac didn’t have a great game, Yes BUT TMac allowed Benny Brown to be a loose man. Which was the main problem last year So TMac still did an important job
  18. Don’t complain about the Crowd The Dogs didn’t show up. That is out of our control
