There is no doubt the AFL will force us to wear a White “Clash” strip, which will make us clash with other jumpers far more than we do now. (Personally i don’t think we clash with anybody) But the AFL have to force their rules down our throat... they love Power and Dill has to justify his wage...

We have enough skill to match it with most other sides i worry that we have the will to do it weekly. Through a succession of coaches the same trait has always prevailed. On one week, off the next... Goody knows it, which is why he offloaded Watts

But that Compromises the Premiership season that is unacceptable. We are MFC Members first and foremost SOO can only work betwen 2 States

Trouble is that all teams want to play Victoria. WA v SA or against an allies side just doesn’t work. NRL State of Origin is what it is because 2 neighbouring States absolutely hate each other.

Heart?

If it was just South Australia, State of Origin would be alive. But with more than 2 states involved the concept could never generate the same intensity as the NRL Pity, but playing WA isn’t the same as South Australia..

I would love to see The Big V play South Australia in State of Origin again. I was at The ‘G in 1989. Amazing day. But it won’t happen again because there is too much money involved now. Players are worth too much to play for high stakes
