Yes i remember that. Video evidence that he just swatted away again

Satyriconhome has really covered himself in glory today. I mean really. I have never seen a more pathetic retort when he has just stated absolute untruths and a total lack of any understanding....

New CEO - Gary Pert
I would rather Pert than a no name CEO at this point in our history. We need to grow... a place we haven’t been before

New CEO - Gary Pert
Yes you are right. More contacts in the Portfolio ?

BANG!!!!

We have to grow to become succesful, we won’t be the same “little” quaint MFC anymore. Some blood will be spilt, it is inevitable. PJ stripped it all back for efficiency, Pert i hope will grow the Club with the right people doing the right jobs to help us grow and be respected (hated) i wonder if many on here realize how competitive Austereo is on the radio market You have to be a good operator to run that place, even though the radio stations were awful!!! I am not their demographic

We are not Nought Melbourne. They are. Our growth corridor is so much bigger it is yet to be tapped

Collective force from all levels stop thinking small WB. We are beyond that now. The CLUB demands excellence from all levels

Winners get taken seriously. The rest get what’s left over (the NT) The top clubs wouldn’t even look at that deal. We had no choice Time to get serious

How is it Rubbish? explain please. You are thinking in a small bubble Mach. I expected better from you. Corporate contacts can go a long way...

It’s all about winning for the MFC. That is the only way we will grow. It’s been too long. Pert will have many contacts from his time at Austereo and The Filth

Makes sense. I never understand why we are not more proactive in this area

A diverse answer i suspect, but we should be targetting these people right now

No big deal, i made a point i have always believed and still do. We are also in a unique position whereby we are not part of a suburb, we are part of a city... Pert should be excited about those prospects of growth. Melbourne is growing by over 1000 people a week and has been for 2-3 years now. Possibilities

We do, and i hope Pert can do just that, i am just saying there are a lot of dormant supporters out there who are off the radar at this point
-
New CEO - Gary Pert
I don’t care what you wish to believe there are 4-5 generations of supporters who have walked away from supporting the club, because we have been so bad for so long. Some jumped ship and are lost, others just don’t support. Some of them returned 30 years ago in ‘87 briefly, but it was a false dawn and they retreated. 60 years ago we were THE big club, we can get back there. But if supporters keep tthinking small it will be a lot harder

Many years ago i worked for a market research company whilst at Uni. I take no notice of their figures for that reason, so much was fudged blatantly. My point is, i think we have a huge dormant supporter base who do not even admit they are demons. We have been crap for to long!

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$’s

We have a huge dormant supporter base.Stop thinking we are a small club forever. This is great timing, My respect for Bartlett has just risen substantially. He has had a long term since he arrived (New York Yankees) I have wondered whether phase 2 would happen.

We look forward. PJ has done his job magnificently and is always welcome to attend MFC functions. Pert has been head hunted as the best replacement...
-
New CEO - Gary Pert
I think PJ would be ecstatic that Pert is the man to grow the club after he rebuilt the foundations. Both were topline operators of big clubs

There is no pleasing some people...
-
New CEO - Gary Pert
Absolutely. But you have to know how to maximize that growth (Bulldogs...)
-
New CEO - Gary Pert
Thanks. Membership exploded whilst Pert was there. Exactly what we need, from that we get exposure and better fixtures. To grow you must take carefully planned risks. Some may fail, but the wins can be huge.

Not sure ET but i would guess 35-40,000 in 2007. I do know it grew quickly...
