Lou Richards loved him all through the 70’s and 80’s, he certainly elevated his career. Peter Landy was also a quiet Whorethorn man. They were great commentators, but i never liked the Lethal worshiping
-
You really are a strange one. You don’t believe me, when i am telling you that Stephen has ongoing headaches and problems with sleeping, AS A DIRECT RESULT OF THE MATTHEWS HIT. So you go and worship Lethals piece of metal and feel all gooey Ring up Sheahan when he does his morning radio spot in SEN
-
Kennedy’s Commandos, still alive at Whorethorn....
-
Give Stephen a call and tell him what you think. I am sure he will appreciate your concern
-
Sure it was rough and “Coathangers” were not uncommon. I get that, and i saw a lot of them. But Matthews targeted players far more than most, his victims were mostly off the ball and put to sleep, he was in his own catergory. I prefered it when Grinter just played footy. He was a good player, tainted in my eyes because of his tribunal record. Wallace’s jaw was smashed not far from where i was in the crowd, i can still recall the sound. It wasn’t nice....

The incident is what it is. Stephen has ongoing trouble sleeping, because of headaches to this day...his words. The episode was on Youtube in its entirety 2-3 years ago,, sadly it is not there now.
-
It wasn’t said in a joking matter..... So what, is your attitude... speaks volumes
-
I expect him to face up to what HE did, whether it was yesterday or 45 years ago. You doubt he told Mike Sheahan that during his “Open Mike” episode, wtf does that mean when i have watched the episode more than once You are wrong. Sheahan asked him about the direct incident and Smith gave a very detailed account. Google is your friend...
-
You enjoy that statue ProDee. His headaches are a direct result of the Matthews hit. His words to Mike Shehan a couple of years ago
-
Wow!! That is a strange rant and i have done a lot of airports over the last 4 months
-
That’s your opinion. Stephen Smith Still gets headaches to this day, i am not sure about Peter Giles or McMullin. I saw the Stephen Smith hit at the ground. It was pure thuggery, planned and executed
-
I am not denying the guy could play. But he was also a vicious thug, who won’t face up to it now when questioned.
-
The exact answer i would expect from that man... A Statue of him stands at the ground i am a Member of. “Not Happy, Jan”
-
Rattled upstairs after last week
-
You are free to stand and worship it anytime you like ProDee. I have better things to do

Casey Demons v Sandringham - Round 19

Great effort to win today with such an unsettled side. I hope Bernie decides to play on next year... -
Yes it wouldn’t suprise me at all if last week really rocked the Meth Coke boys. Time will tell the story
-
Interesting if that is the case, not the usual Whorethorn. We can beat any side, if we are mentally ready for 4 Quarters of hard pressure.
-
Any specific reason why Whorethorn scoring dried up in the last Q, or was it just a momentum swing after the cats got a sniff?
-
We blew it, twice. They get 8 points. This is exactly why we as a whole, club and supporters, must learn to never accept even an honourable loss as anything near good enough. The ramifications are right here in front of us that said, we can still control our destiny, but Jeelong should have been killed off weeks ago

Congratulations Bernie Vince on 100 MFC Games

Would be sad if Bernard has played his last game for us. I am suprised he hasn’t been used up forward in bursts. He is a great kick for goal -
We have to get better. Those bastards aint gonna just lie down...

Breathing??

As i said a few months ago, i had a chance meeting with Matthews about 20 years ago. I didn’t say a lot, but he knew exactly what i meant... A low life of the highest order I would have paid a months wages to see him chased around a Supermarket, by an irate mother.
