What you say has some merit, but we are not the first team to play a Final Series and then send players to hospital. Meth Coke and The Filth were also hit hard. They dealt with it and sorted out a plan B, whilst we have not

First time i have agreed with TGR The attitude of the MFC after the Preliminary Final was always a worry to me. I haven’t seen any change since then, except a lot of words and promises

Big words Macca. I have observed for 48 years what doesn’t work at the MFC 1. Lack of Leadership 2. Work ethic deficiencies Year after Year If you think my observations are somewhat juvenile, i don’t particularly care tbh, because this club is not like the 17 others, we are in our own little cocoon, and if you think it is going to be broken through conventional methods, it is you who are naive. The Departure of Roos and then PJ has proven that. As soon as they were both out the door ? the whole place has fallen to pieces. A sad reality Stephen May’s Attitude onfield is an excellent addition. Standards must be raised, something our current Captains are incapable of enforcing.

I have read what you wrote and i disagree. Our Leadership onfield has been shiithouse for years. No one is accountable. Who sets the examples? Certainly not Jones or Viney i loved seeing what May did on Sunday. More of it please. I lack experience?? In what?? You have no idea what i have been through in 56 years. Things don't work at the MFC, that is the problem...has been for decades, Seeing someone on the field REALLY care that a mistake was made, and that it was not good enough was music to my ears. Hope he gives Jones or Viney a blast when they butcher a basic skill too, things may actually change for the better Our on field leadership has been shocking for so long.

Yes. This club has been soft on itself for a very long time. Maybe this will be the positive to come from this 2019 year. Viney and Jones must be removed from the top job, they are not up to it

Breath of Fresh Air Serious Candidate for Captaincy next year. May has shown both Attitude and Ball Skills sadly lacking from many others... It’s Round 14 and the season is dead, and people are still tip toeing around. A few more players need a serious rocket ? Reputations mean nothing now

Personally i would be trading out Coaches and Staff at the end of the year, before attacking the Playing list. This is all about Gameplans and demanding that players have elite skills, and know when to use them Goodwin has changed nothing this year....
