THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
You will need to ask them that question.

THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
Because it is his choice as a professional, As we are virtually anonymous on here, he has a right to be the same if he so chooses.

THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
Yep, Lawyers do that all the time and magistrates/ judges are just too dumb to see through the charade. ?

THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
Or his reading of things have precedent. Oh, nothing better than a good conspiracy theory though.

THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
So you're saying he's wrong then?

THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
In any criminal case - like it or not - the presumption of innocent until proven guilty is an inviolable tenet. Debating a football clubs's supplement program is an entirely different issue.

THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
Mods, may I take the liberty of urging caution on the turn this topic has taken? This is now a criminal matter and certain rules apply.

Casey $5 million Redevelopment
As my kids often remind me, I play "old man" bowls. As such and in contrast, I noted with interest that opposition leader Matthew Guy has pledged $150K to the modest Carrum Bowls Club, should the Liberals win the next State election, which they're a fair chance to do. Isn't it amazing what pollies will do for marginal seats in an election year?

Be Patient with Lever
Agreed. It is a bit hard to shine, when you are dragged down to below par performances by a lot of your team mates. I won't engage - at this stage - about the coaching. But next Tuesday is going to be a huge night for the MFC and dare I used the cliche, but it will be season defining I think.

Gaming - we are out!
I agree with the principle which led to this decision. However, I would like to know what will be new in the strategic plan to make up the obvious and inevitable revenue loss.

Bring in Frost and let Lever do what he does best. Intercept mark without having to body the big KPF's

2018 Membership Thread
I can only claim 53. My dad first signed me up after the '64 flag. Not that I have much memory of that, as I was too busy picking up the old steel beer cans to stand on, rather than watch the game. But at least I can say I was there. From that point on my sanity has certainly been tested. In 65 I was inconsolable after watching Tony Charlton interview Norm Smith just after Doc Duffy sacked him.

2018 Membership Thread
I'm just turning up the stereo......type. The slight decrease in membership numbers at this time of year, as compared to last year, is because any self respecting, Range Rover driving Dees supporter, who has a fondness for snow, would be directing their entire attention to the Winter Olympics. The Ox and Marko sacked by SEN
To me SEN is on the skids. Hutchy may be shrewd when it comes to the figures ($), but I am not sure his identification of so-called 'talent' is that good. While I know much of the programming still relies on the summer sports calendar, personally I find most of the programming to be exceptionally boring. The previous cameo by Dr Turf on KB's morning program was OK, but I just don't believe the chemistry can last for an entire program. Andy Maher, to me, is extremely tedious, particularly his incessant preambles into inane questions. Why SEN went back to the future with Maher beggars believe really. While Finey could rankle, I at least found him entertaining and particularly enjoyed his segment with Geoff Poulter, interviewing past VFL/AFL stars. As for Whately, time will tell I guess. Not that I think Whately is not an excellent sports broadcaster, but the fit with SEN just doesn't seem to me to be the right synergy.

The Ox and Marko sacked by SEN
While at Uni, I had a part time job in a department store selling menswear. It was appropriate protocol back then to ask a 'gentleman', while measuring his inside leg as to "what side sir dresses on?" I'm a leftie. What a crock. Media bias is in the eye of the beholder. Shock jocks can make political editorial comment and sell it as general news. Good save the ABC I say.
-
The Ox and Marko sacked by SEN
According to reports today, Whately did not want to leave the ABC, but felt that his former employer was too slow in getting a contract on the table. If his preference was to stay at the ABC, you have to wonder if his heart will be in it at SEN. Time will tell I guess.

The Ox and Marko sacked by SEN
Andy Maher back in the lunchtime slot. Cue the 3 minute preamble before an actual question gets asked of the 'guest'.

The Ox and Marko sacked by SEN
Hutchy may have business acumen, but if anyone has listened to his inane banter with Liam Pickering, on their Saturday morning show; "Off the Bench", you would know that Marko and Ox are oracles in comparison.

The adventures of President Donald Gump
Will they place a tariff on products which are bought online? In today's global economy, tariffs just never work. But here's an idea. How about trying some innovation and having the guts to look at the long term future? Nah, that would never work, would it. They can spend billions to increase their arsenal, but are unable to fund innovation and infrastructure? Go figure.

The adventures of President Donald Gump
FBI director James B. Comey asked the Justice Department to publicly reject President Donald Trump's assertion that the president Barack Obama ordered the tapping of Trump's phones, senior US officials said. Comey has argued that the highly charged claim is false and must be corrected, they said, but the department has not released any such statement. http://www.theage.com.au/world/fbi-director-james-comey-asks-justice-department-to-reject-donald-trumps-wiretapping-claim-20170305-gurb08.html

Common decency is all one asks for from Frump; fake news or not. A U.S. Army veteran injured while serving 2 tours of duty in Afghanistan is fighting not to be deported to Mexico. http://abc7chicago.com/news/veteran-fighting-deportation-after-2-tours-in-afghanistan/1739129/ Sorry Biff, I forgot this is only a contrived story perpetrated by the leftie fourth estate.
