  1. I missed for a couple of years after the millenium while studying. If Jimmy is all about 'youth' then perhaps the club should organise some sort of student membership or some description.
  2. Epic thread on this about 3 months ago. Just about everyone put there 2 cents in on where they stand on this issue.
  3. Not judging at all, and not saying it is any of my business becasue it isn't. Every club has an enigma that creates interest among the faithful.
  4. It would be intriguing to speak to the young man (Newton) about what he wants.
  5. Double edged sword this one. Agree that he does a great job on Johnson but it takes away so much from our drive through the midfield into the forward line. Despite his disposal issues he does bring class and ingenuity to the fall of the footy and if he is having a really good game on the ball we are usually not too far away.
  6. He's played quite well in the midfield this year. Plays is in bursts and gets knocked off the ball a bit but one forgets he is only 18. When he gets stronger and more confident I can definitley see him playing in the midfield. Could be the next Boomer!
  7. I agree. Garland and Warnock would struggle on Minson due to height and Minson can be dangerous if he drifts back to the square. it would be a good test for Stef. Warnock would be a good match up for Hahn as Warnock is quick of the mark and Hahn is a great mark. Garland would be a good match up for Murphy. The four harderst to match up on will be Aker, Johnson, Gia and Welsh (who always goes to town on us).
  8. TAC and equivalents across the states and territories. Not saying that the notion of the TAC is stronger than the APS is sacrosanct though.
  9. I don't know where you got the idea that I was inferring that they were related. The surname is incidental. I was comparing them in terms of stature and style of play, one played for Wesley College and the other plays for Brighton Grammar. What I am questioning is the strength of APS football compared to other organisations.
  10. I am wary of this Jack Watts. Fergus Watts is an individual that comes to mind. DOMINANT and STRONG at APS LEVEL but now ruuning around with Collegians in the Amateurs.
  11. No...that's not true... That's Impossible!!!!.....
