  1. My what ever words are necessary about Joeboy and “supporters” like him Joeboy. Lacks constructive thoughts but serves a purpose when he checks his facts. RobboKing: little to offer and lacks a spell checker. Redleg: not able to support to save his life Rivers Run Red: man of few words Drdrake: bad sport, walked out on his team. Deestroy06: bags his team and the umpires. Unhappy chappy. DazzleDavey36: Deestoys06 little echo. But fortunately agrees with Pringle Diesel: Another deserter who claims to be a fan. Lord Travis: pompous know it all. Jaded :the first to offer positives with some constructive advice. Belzebub59 :can only offer sarcasm. Dee’viator: another echo and character assassinator . Bobby McKenzie: Offers alternative thoughts to the critical ones J Demon. Prepared to offer another view under guise of supporter. Melbournefc: An embarrassment …a supporter who does not support TonyMelb…more of the same…no help at all Jacey: Blame, Blame and more blame Rusty Kingswood: Must have typed his notes from his Year 3 classroom. Pepe Dee Pew: Offered a glimmer of hope after criticism Classy Dees: another who gets his kicks from the bad luck of others Wrathchild: Couldn’t see a positive if it poked him in the face. White stallion: Another smart alec!! PRINGLE: THE ONLY ONE WITH AN OUNCE OF COMMON SENSE Now before you all get on your high horses because someone dared to put you in the position you put players in every day remember how you felt when reading this. Toxic comments are pointless and serve no purpose except to boost the ego of someone wishing to lift their own self esteem by putting others down. Offer help by all means, wonder why etc but what most of you offered was sad One can only hope none of the team read your comments. I bet none of our boys deliberately tried to lose the game. They are a hard working dedicated group of fellows and they will no doubt lose a few more games as the year rolls on. Wouldn’t you rather they did it knowing they still had your full support and encouragement in the bad times and not just when they win. Anyone can jump on a winner’s bandwagon but a true member supports through thick and thin. Try it. Might make a pleasant change.
  2. No, along with many others he did not play.
  3. I saw that. Very puzzling. It was difficult at times to see the far side of the ground but we didn't see any of the flashy stuff he does on "TV" and as for best player I would have to question if the reporter was even there. In our view he was just having a quiet day. Gt crowd, dominated by Crow fans of course but heartning to see many Demons as well plus many neutral people there for the experience. Should be more of it. Many well watered grounds down here. What happens to the MCG when you guys hit Level 5 watering restrictions..I hear that's not far off?
  4. Melbourne started well and led by 3 goals at quarter time but Adelaide slowly got on top to be 1 goal up at half time. The Crows got on top in the 3rd mainly from our mistakes across half forward causing turnovers, then they would stream forward in numbers putting our backline under heaps of pressure. Once on top, our young inexperienced team had no answer. Adelaide ran out winners by about ten goals. Not all doom and gloom though. Fergy played a great game at full back after Benny Holland got a corked hip in first five minutes. Green, Bruce, McDonald, White, Whelan all played well as expected. In the second tier players C Johnson, Bell, Jones, Jamar, Dunn, Bate, all did OK and are starting to look more comfortable at this level. Maloney & Bizzell showed promising signs returning from injury. Both spent some time on the bench. Of the new boys Frawley played well and I think will get a game at some stage this year. Buckley did quite well and he to might earn a spot later. Hughes, Petterd & Garland need time at Sandy but showed some promising signs. I like Paul Johnson, but not as a ruckman. For the last ten minutes of the game he played CHF. and I hope he starts there next week. Sure, not a great pack mark but every thing else is tops, even tackling. Plenty of speed and agility for a big bloke. We have nothing to lose. CHF has been a problem for some time now. Maybe we should give him more of a go there. Now for the negatives. Yze would not be in our best 22 on Saturday's showing. Did not look interested and caused a few turnovers by trying to be too clever. Miller started OK but faded out. Davey was pretty quiet. Godders' skills let him down regularly unfortunately although he busts a gut for the team. Next week we play Richmond and I would guess the coaches will be starting to put together the team they will use for Round 1.
  5. Just wondering if anyone can list the jobs or career paths our guys have in place for "after football" eg. I belive David N. has a degree in something but not sure what and Mark Jamar has some sort of handy man course on the go but that maybe rumour. Any clues? The A.F.L and individual clubs encourages them to do something but I imagine it would be hard to enforce if players think they are bullet proof and will last 15 years in the game while saving their fortune at the same time!!!!
  6. yes , can do that. Sorry for the delay. Didn't realize til I saw a post that i knew I hadn't written. Let's see. "Jane Doe" will do for now. (I will still log on as Farmer Brown I suppose?)
  7. Thanks for that. Will we be able to do this ourselves one day as originally suggested?
  8. Thanks......"Dreamin' Demon" if you wouldn't mind please. As I understand it I still log on the same but this will appear instead of "Farmer Brown"when I post.(unless of course Finks is not quite right again)
  9. Help....I have looked and relooked as I wish to change my display name and all I can see are sentences that start with "Edit" and one "change" which is for photos. Could you be really precise as my computer skills are testy!!!Thanks
