Jim Stynes now being dragged into Tanking Issue!
daisycutter replied to Demon Stalwart's topic in Melbourne Demons
or you could say he doesn't know his elbow from his @rsehole -
he's not a chemist, he's not a pharmacologist, he's not a doctor, he's not a technician he had a LOT of PROFESSIONAL support don't take the above as any excuses, he is a cheat, a liar and a bully of the highest order
-
what i still can't understand is how he avoided detection for so long when so many rumours abounded did he get help in some form from inside? i think there is still a long way to go in this story, and a LOT of people must have been involved
-
beat me to it LOL i was going to say look after the "tanking" definition and just before the "bringing the game into disrepute" definition
-
Wikipedia don't mess around. His entry has been updated with his confession already

funny, i never saw moloney as fast - moloney had no good lateral movement, but grimesy does personally i see grimes and moloney as very different players i also don't really see grimsey as a mid. i preferred him on a hbf

Yes LH, in some respects the afl are sitting in judgement on their own failings in "bringing the game into disrepute". Hopefully they realise the folly in this situation by laying off the mfc and addressing their own drafting and integrity rules.

the board may well have said to the FD something along the lines that you have our approval to prioritise the development of the the team for the medium to long term at the expense of the short term. now that would be reasonable and not uncommon in the afl or other professional sports this could give the FD enough freedom to extend that to list management specifically to optimise the clubs drafting choices by bottoming out as others had done previously So because the board may have sanctioned a re-building priority it doesn't mean it explicitly gave permission to what the proposed afl charges are alleging (notwithstanding the obscurity of such "laws"). -

Melbourne unveils new leadership group
daisycutter replied to dazzledavey36's topic in Melbourne Demons
you're missing od's point totally hose od is talking about good quality players on the list not in the leadership group he is saying you can dress up the pig anyway you like but its still a pig good player list + good leadership = success now he is not saying our current 2013 list is no good, but in good old od style i'm sure he is thinking he will reserve judgement until he sees them on the field -

Melbourne unveils new leadership group
daisycutter replied to dazzledavey36's topic in Melbourne Demons
well there is no reason why he shouldn't leadership groups across all clubs regularly change their membership the most important thing players need to remember is they are there to play good football and be part of a good team popularity is a fleeting phenomenon, being a great player in a great team stays with you forever -
there is a lot to like in McKenzie but I think your comments are fair he needs to develop other aspects of his game or he will be left behind
-
cant be - win:loss 74:80 (MFC) 3 goals on debut (MFC) (including other clubs still doesn't add up)

Hazy you strike me as someone who puts his own ego a long way ahead of any self deluded notion of loyalty to club Its sad that you can't see this and continue your crusade of vindictiveness -
an unsettled team plays unsettled cricket too many changes too often rotation (at least the acb way) not working
-
how do you know its under cam's rug could be under the boardroom's rug for all you know
-
i was referring to you "belittling" comments. they do your cause no credit
-
fcs mjt, lighten up a bit. you are getting quite paranoid
-
Rotation looks like its working well today what a disaster - serves the acb right for continually mucking around like headless chooks
