  1. even said nice things about the media he's a monty to get a lucrative job in the media if he can keep spilling the dirt he'll land on his feet no worries
  2. yep. i just watched the replay and fitzy was right up there with the best players. his best game ever. think the backline might be his best position, plus it gives us a second tall when we come against the sides with multiple gorilla forwards
  3. $100,000 - 2000 x $50 3 game memberships (I think)
  4. Michael Tuck played 1972-1991 ( 20 years ) till age of 38 for 426 games Interestingly he also played 50 games in the reserves and played 11 games for victoria (theoretically if he played on he could have had 500 games combined - just amazing) He played well in his last year and wanted to play on. Hawthorn forced his retirement and he was really pizzed off Tuck, Bartlett and Fletcher were all skinny wirey types
  5. are they holding the meeting at the herald sun offices - lol
  6. look i don't particularly like malthouse myself, always thought he was divisive, self serving, hypocritical and basically a nutter at times but there again, this could be said of many coaches including successful ones but i don't think he was a bad person per se. he has often been seen to get the best out of his players (but also managed to get a few off side too) never thought he was the right person for carlton given where they were at. always saw it blowing up in their faces carlton should never have got rid of ratten, he was moving them along quite nicely, but the board and stakeholders were typically too impatient as for slobbo being a judge of someone's character.....what a hypocrite
  7. wouldn't take too much notice of anything that comes out of slobbo's mouth, hardtack he's definitely someone who's not much of a person
  8. where was this interview? on radio? any link?
  9. now c'mon earl, it was always a meeting place for utes, tradies, pi$$heads, drug dealers and loose women and in your case wayward youth searching for the meaning of life
  10. good heavens, moonie. i'd need a visa and a good dressing down to get into the burvale and even then i'd only meet biffo's clients i stick to the tennis/bowls clubs with the occasional pensioners discount meal at the flinders even it means travelling beyond the safe confines of beautiful burwood
  11. there's no substitute for good manners, al take a leaf out of my book
  12. the likelihood is not good, biffo
  13. yeah, they'd probably get dill to phone them the night before testing - lol
  14. daniel also played highest game time % (95%) equal with tmac not bad for a 32yo veteran
  15. howey's game wasn't great, but it was a decent step up from his recent form something to build on
  16. you don't have to be hit in the head to see stars it might have had more to do with the sudden head acceleration/deceleration as he seemed to have no awareness of the impending hit
  17. Interesting ladder 1. WA 2. WA 3.NSW 4.NSW
  18. won't matter anyway. goodes will miss games from broken arm.
  19. while you're at it picket why don't you do a "my 3 word analysis vs the bulldogs" ?
  20. swans were good but ultimately lucky hawks had plenty of opportunities and blew them with bad (uncharacteristic) kicking for goal still it shows that even hawthorn lose their composure if you apply enough pressure maybe man-on-man football has a future as a game plan, especially against sides with more talent
  21. i just hope the hipsters don't read that article and migrate on their $5,000 push bikes i need to talk to border protection
  22. "Burwood and its surrounds in Melbourne’s east bursts with the largest oversupply of women, analysis based on the latest Census data shows." A veritable female smorgasbord
  23. don't think essendrug really like him either they say they are trying to mend fences with the afl, but that's is really only on the surface
  24. as long as gil keeps his polo form up to scratch he's as safe as houses
  25. larkin on the radio this morning says injuries are up this season across the board blames speed of game and tackling ferocity as main reasons says afl closely looking a slowing game down through rotations says no good intell on whether this would increase injuries due to increased fatigue
