daisycutter replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
weather conditions will (should) keep the scores low and close. skills will be secondary. we need to play smart wet weather football -

wouldn't be surprised if it's jkh. he hasn't got an inside game and it's going to be brutal with the wet conditions -

if cas case doesn't start till oct doubt it will complete before trading time and draft essendung will be hamstrung no end. who'd want to trade players with them. they'll have to rely heavily on their draft picks unless they want to trade one of their untainted players or high draft picks more pain for them and to think they could have settled all this 2 years ago -
threw the whistle away in the last 5 minutes....not one free given and a couple of obvious ones

did read somewhere recently, r&b that someone in melbourne is doing possum burgers they're big in kiwiland too i'm told

Are we seeing Geelongs culture crumbling?

probably also related to harder economic times down at geelong, coupled with the slide down the ladder can understand locals cutting back a little on membership options. maybe similar with pokies -

the afl "tax" formula is based on football dept spending, not overall club profit/loss if they "overspend" on footy dept then stiff biccies, that's their choice just more spin -
THE SAGA CONTINUES - WADA APPEALS
daisycutter replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
even if so, asada would be beholden to wada and would need to get their agreeance, or be it to their peril -
you've obviously never tried a McMonkey burger tastes a bit like a cross between chicken and rabbit pity you have to go to maccas in kenya, but

both were absolute guns, couldn't fairly separate them, though they did play differently both were very consistent reliable performers and both great marks roos was probably more silky and classy whilst jako was more a big powerful brute of a player both were resilient and had long careers but roos with 356 games outlasted jako with 276 jako was 193cm and 100kg wheras roos smaller at 188cm and 88kg

according to the hun only daniel andrews and the kiss of death have picked the bummers otoh the winning margin predicted by the other punters was mostly less than 20 points with many less than a goal

anyone seen any greeks bearing gifts lately? (gifs don't count)
-
maybe, but i doubt it. they stayed away in droves for the saints game last week anyway, even with a reasonable turnout of bomber fans there will be no trouble getting ga tickets at the gate i'll be buying a ga ticket
-
essendon game is an away game don't expect a big crowd, bombers fans will stay away can get general admission at gate for $25 check afl site for where ga tickets can sit (not optimal areas) otherwise book online for ticket plus better seating

on last week's form goddard should be dropped......but won't happen
