I need a fix of Nudge
-
I am warming more to getting Pedersen and keeping pick 20.
-
Great post. Look at the top 20 mids in the comp and they will get the ball in and out. The very best mids will get an inside ball then get out and deliver.
-
I think that is the point. Moloneys petulant displays happened within the season. The important thing to note is that he announced his intention not to "explore free agency" as every other available free agency did, instead he was the only free agent to announce categorically that he was leaving his club. The club knowing that he is a free agent and understanding that any compensation we awere likely to receive would be nominal wished him all the best. If anyone has diminished BM's value it has been BM due to a loss of personal form, an apparent unwillingess to work on a new game plan and a premature resignation. It is hardly surprising to see clubs steering clear. Anyhow thats the last post by me on this matter here, thread is being hijacked.

Statement 1: Give games to players who under-perfom to maintain trade value. Statement 2: Moloney didn't do himsely any favours but that is separate to the Moloney issue. You seem an articulate person, therefore I assume that you have some degree of intelligence and education. I therefore see no need to engage you in arguing obvious reasons why these statements are flawed. Given you lack of post history and insincerity of your argument I question your motives.
-
Yep that would have made all the difference. And we should give under-performing players games to maintain thier trade value. Having read your first 6 posts I am suspicious of your motives..
-
Step 1: Get ball
-
Good midfielders do both. Hopefully these two will be very good. The idea that you need a certain amount of players exclusively to do inside work and a certain amount exclusively to do the outside is not right. It's an antiquated concept.
-
It was more in response to a few overvaluing our discards.
-
Read more of my posts mb. I am largely positive.

Hannebery Bolton and Jack Bartel selwood Chapman and Corey Hodge Mitchell Lewis

The best mids get them in and out. Let's just get the hardest and best mids we can.
-
For sale. Inside mids with no strength, outside mids with poor skills and skinny kpfs with no acceleration.
-
Jones, Viney and Wines. We are no longer a soft midfield.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - JESSE HOGAN

Forget there is any such thing as a mini draft. GWS rate Martin as 2nd best available or better and we rate Hogan as 3rd or better. -

Plus dom barry. 20 will be considered for Dawes? That would mean these 5 from our top 4 picks: Hogan Pick 4 Mid Barry Dawes Viney 2 mids with potential to make an impact round 1, 1 KPF ready to go. A giant KPF and potential line breaking wingman/defender to develop. Seems like a nice balance and fills needs. -
Has the MFC shot itself in the foot?

If the gist of your OP that players are unwilling to come to the club because of Neeld's attempt to change the club culture and make the playing group fitter and or defensively accountable then I disagree. And if we are losing players that aren't buying in or not attracting those who will buy in then it is step one in cleansing the list. As Rhino and others allude to, I don't deny that we are not a particularly attractive destination, but it is because our image has taken such a beating through many years of mediocrity and being poorly managed and coached. It will take Craig, Neeld and others soe tie to begin to undo the damage. -

I'd need at least twenty beers and some very ordinary lighting. -

Another thread.... -
It's about playing roles. We have so many lost and incomplete footballers on our list and have had for so long.

All indications are that he is mentally and physically cooked. Would love to see me proven wrong.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CAMERON PEDERSEN

Jungle drums continue to beat for this bloke. Looks good from what I have seen of him. Good hands, one grabber, good pace and footy smarts. Would be better than any other option we currently have to fill CHF. Could be a good value get. Only played 2 games in 2012, played 14 in 2011 for 74 marks for 18 goals. Alternately Chris Dawes in 2012 played 23 games took 110 marks for 16 goals. -

I also disagree strongly with trading Nathan Jones, the changing of our club colours to lilac and tangerine and adopting Pokemon as our new Mascot. -

Wait a few moments while I attempt to contrive rage and disgust at the possibility of an imaginary trade scenario which has been touted by an unknown source and spouted by some journalist prior to the actual start of trade week and prior to the comencement of the negotiations and discussions between the clubs actually involved in the said scenario.
