  1. Weagles have turned into a bit of a rabble at the moment.
  2. Simply an 8 point game to win against a good side. Great debut by Rooey, that will give him lots of confidence going into nest week.
  3. Melks after the siren to put the icing on top
  4. great way to really break the swans hoodoo over us. We have out worked them in the second half.
  5. Rooey!! Love the high 5 after the mark...
  6. Lets go...finish it off.
  7. Missed that handball by that much to Oliver, would have bene a goal.
  8. Go boys, we have repsonded against a really good side. How much better is Grundy rucking today, difference mindset knowing you're going in as the no 1. ruck for the game.
  9. Did someone say drop from the Fritta? Yeah he was a bit weak earlier, but how classy is he.
  10. great transition and run from defence.... Chandler now goal it.
  11. Need to get some gut running going to fill the gaps across the field. But gee these kicks are the swans are good. Need to stop the dinky little handballs, swans always pick them off.
  12. The suns are missing those little skills to take advantage of their energy.
  13. Didn't know King was back...
  14. Gunston would have been a great pickup if we managed to get him. great kick for goal.
  15. I wouldn't put all the eggs in the No.1 pick baskets. Not that I know of this kid that has become hot property. Isn't this draft supposed to be a super draft with talent running deep, I prefer us to work up to 2/3 top 10/12 picks like we did the year we got Kossie and Jackson.
  16. I have no issue with Jackson. He made his decision and his absences is a long term issue that we have time to solve (Even him coming back in the future) His manager should have had this conversation with him as part of the move. Young player on big money (reportedly) will be the focus and whipping boy of failure in WA. Even worse if its a Freo player, (WC players are more of a protected species from the WC dominated media). Sadly I believe he cannot live up to the expectations the have been set by the media and the club in him joining then such big money int he short term, hence it will become the focus of the teams ills. The second (Pointed out by many including me last year) there is not a clear position for him to play int he current Freo structure. This will possibly destroy him as he tries to develop, not matter what mum does and says. Lastly his arrival (trades needed to get done) and the need to play him based upon contract has upset the balance in the free team that have not been rectified yet. If they don't play him, it will be worse in the media based on what has happened to previous players in that position. Including a couple of very talented but less focussed ex-dees.
  17. Losing to west coat next week will end their season as a meaningful venture. More so due to how the eagles are travelling.
  18. I have no grudge on Jackson going home...but I want them to finish as low as possible to get value from their picks. As for Jackson, he's now a very highly paid player at the club (By all reports). But Freo does not have a great record of developing players to come to them from another club. For some reasons it almost always goes pear shaped. Jackson has started the year how he finished the last... well below his potential. His role hasn't really changed between the clubs too much so, 4th years blues?
  19. Well that's 0-2... just. but a loss is a loss. They still don't look very good fwd of the ball.
  20. Fingers crossed its a short term injury. What is concerning was our inability to adjust quickly. But I blame that on being in Brissie and the conditioning being slippery.
  21. AT least they made the last 8 minutes interesting
  22. So the game will stop, we had time! (Don't think we had it in us tonight in the due)
  23. Ha, what are the rules... a draw :).
  24. simply not working hard enough in the backline, really slack.
