TRAINING: Tuesday 3rd March 2020
I guess Sauce is Oscar Baker. I thought the aviation Alphabet for B was Baker but it is in fact Bravo. I was toying with Pilot or Foxtrot...

Jack Viney a Liability?
Is his one dimension; toughness, ability to break open packs and get the ball, set tackling standards, have opposition watch out for him when he is needed to show captaincy in last quarters or to make other teammates around him walk taller? They are the dimensions I see.

Jack Viney a Liability?
Its like we all know each other yet we are bashing trolleys to get to the dunny paper.

Jack Viney a Liability?
It gets up my frock when the players we love to watch go through a bad patch and get slagged off here. Tmac Gus and Viney in particular. I wish more posters would hold their bottle and see a couple of real games before looking for problems. Every other team would love these players to be available.

Sounds like he has gotten through the 9/10 weeks of no running after surgery in a good way, and now can start running and light training. This is what we were told. All on track for the Harley.

You are not watching the caring and community Hell and Back, obviously.

Essendon or Sydney for wooden spoon Id say. But I hope Carlton.

OPPOSITION WATCH: Rd 1 vs West Coast
G.Lyon is right. It was overly aggressive. If he doesnt get a week, it should be used as defense (which is unallowed apparently) for someone else. If I were to pick the outcome, Id say it deserves a week but because it is west coast, they will get off.

Herald Sun 2020 Predictions
Im definitely in the "No Injuries to top 12 players" camp. (is there one?) This survey by professional writes/tipsters is very sobering compared to our discussions on DL. If we get our best new players playing to their potential, they will probably surprise a few journos as they havent as yet really associated them with Melbourne. Langdon, May, Tomlinson, Bennell, Lever. Then if TMac Gus AVB and Viney are back to their best form, Im tipping them even in round one. All that being so we would have to crack the top 4 at least. Unfortunately you can make a case that if many other sides are injury free as well it makes it very difficult. We bat deep but at least 5 others do as well. As opposed to say North and Carlton who rely solely on their 5/6 best players. Bulldogs is a potential big thing IMV.

Casey Demons Offseason News
I was impressed with Courtney. I think he could well challenge Preuss and Bradtke for a ruck spot.
- Jayden Hunt

POSTGAME: PM02 vs Kangaroos
Brown lacks the ability to ruck. But without wanting a philosophical debate about rucking and roving to the other ruckman, I think his ability to provide a target inside 50 moves him into 2nd place for me with TomMac in 1st.

POSTGAME: PM02 vs Kangaroos
Some great tackling today by Gus, Wagner (I dunno which one) and Lockhart. Good to see them stick.

POSTGAME: PM02 vs Kangaroos
Im very impressed with Browns mobility. Almost beating Tomlinson at his own game, plus being able to take marks in front of goal. Many times he worked up on the wing for possesions.

POSTGAME: PM02 vs Kangaroos
I think Bedford might be the one Kossie has to win his spot from.

POSTGAME: PM02 vs Kangaroos
We showed our depth and it looks as if there will be some hard choices picking a 1st 22 come the Eagles game.

GAMEDAY: PM02 vs Kangaroos
Bedford, Lockhart and Rivers all are AFL level.

GAMEDAY: PM02 vs Kangaroos
Yes he is playing okj. Doesnt actually answer my question which I nearly was going to make 25 meters

GAMEDAY: PM02 vs Kangaroos
I wonder how far Spargo can kick. I dont know if he can cover > 35 meters.

GAMEDAY: PM02 vs Kangaroos
Rivers and Lockhart - very good kicks: what we need.

GAMEDAY: PM02 vs Kangaroos
I thought he wasnt good last week. This week he is running to the right spots - mainly. Holding marks and kicking accurately. generally being quite good. he couldve been there for Gus when Gus was looking for a HB target, though.

GAMEDAY: PM02 vs Kangaroos
Spargo is looking better than last week.I havent seen much of Jordan yet, hope to see him get involved.
-
GAMEDAY: PM02 vs Kangaroos
I think Gus expected Spargo to be close enough to handball to. Spargo was ball watching and Gus has a bad elbow.

GAMEDAY: PM02 vs Kangaroos
Casey's Courtney (35) is in the ruck. Looks lively.
