GAMEDAY: PM02 vs Kangaroos

Rivers and Lockhart - very good kicks: what we need.

GAMEDAY: PM02 vs Kangaroos
I thought he wasnt good last week. This week he is running to the right spots - mainly. Holding marks and kicking accurately. generally being quite good. he couldve been there for Gus when Gus was looking for a HB target, though.

Spargo is looking better than last week.I havent seen much of Jordan yet, hope to see him get involved.

GAMEDAY: PM02 vs Kangaroos
I think Gus expected Spargo to be close enough to handball to. Spargo was ball watching and Gus has a bad elbow.

Casey's Courtney (35) is in the ruck. Looks lively.

GAMEDAY: PM02 vs Kangaroos
Fritch very good. Harmes says he is pushed out of the middle by the bull Trac. He will be breaking lines from Half back this year.

Rivers is a thumping kick. This quarter James Harmes is commentating.

GAMEDAY: PM02 vs Kangaroos
It really is a step up from VFL and although no one is going in very hard, its a good match. Havent seen Bradtke get many hitouts yet.

OMac is a pretty good kick, doesnt miss many. Thats not an issue.

GAMEDAY: PM02 vs Kangaroos
this is a bit disappointing. At least i can see others have the same issue and its not my PC, or inability to log in using my memebership. Working Now!

Replacing Frost
Omac is 24 in a couple of weeks.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BENNELL
They said on the Demonland podcast tonight that the operation Harley undertook means he cant run for 9 weeks which is coming up shortly. Being conservative as Burgess is, that means we should start to see HB start to move around the track a little faster from now on. IMV Midyear or 8-9 weeks still a possibility. But it may take that long just to move out of rehab.

POSTGAME: MS01 vs Adelaide
Chest mark in the last 2 minutes? Yes. He played in front, which was good to see.

POSTGAME: MS01 vs Adelaide
Vanders may not have great stats, but he hit hard, stopped a lot of Crows forward movements and when he kicked he generally hit a target. I thought he was good.

POSTGAME: MS01 vs Adelaide
Spargo - cant kick to a target. Cant handball to someone not under pressure. Cant tackle. Cant mark, took maybe 2/3 dropped many more. I guess Im anti-spargo. The Weid. Cant mark. Im anti-weid until I see him worthy of a spot. he was hopeless in the ruck and i know thats not his position. He is on a big contract on the back of 3 decent games.

GAMEDAY: MS01 vs Adelaide
Weid and Tommy need to get involved. Disposals are shocking. Spargo has nothing I see as positive. Not even quick.

GAMEDAY: MS01 vs Adelaide
Brown playing in square and getting the frees TomMac used to get. Tommy looking just off the pace so far.

Training Ground?
Elsternwick park is 10 mins on train from Richmond. It has full sized oval. It is close to Nepean hwy and rail and tram. It is actually 6 kms from Melbourne city. It is already upgraded and ready to go but would need a lot of diplomatic and political sway to get it. But much less than other options. It already has a license, it has an almost extinct bowls club next to it that needs a makeover if a function was needed. It is close to some of the best pub meals at the Elsternwick hotel. That end of GlenHuntly rd is now catching up with inner suburbs. There is quite a lot going for it. Brand new facilities, it is like a large regional ground. I just think that the infrastructure and politics of of other options has about the same hope as a train to the airport. And Port Melbourne? We'd be under the WestGate and with our luck it would come down again.

The Councillor is Rob Grinter. Not sure if he is a relative of Rod. My argument is that a strong council would not stand for his dealings in his shop under Accountability and Integrity codes of conduct. There is also an Impartiality code which would seem that you are walking close to. Most councilors have been mayor it seems. Where I live near Elsternwick Park, our ward is conjoined with East Brighton. Why? Its miles away. This means when I walk my dog off leash in Elst park I soon will have to share with a football club building an oval on Parkland where I cant let my dog off leash. Vampires are from East Brighton, no where near us, but very close to where the perennial council members live. They stay on council for about as long as the Castros in Cuba. We have not had a local onboard and I have watched and petitioned with Bruce Woodley to not lose our dog park. I pay rates. I take a particular interest as 2 ex-school chums of mine have been mayor and other than being on council they dont seem to make much of a mark in society. So it gets up my frock when you say Bayside are clean. Its not black and white its black and grey. I am glad you too, believe the main Elsternwick oval would be a good idea. It is used about 5% of the year.- Training Ground?
