    How was he feeling D?
  3. Embarrassing. If it happened, own it and clean it up. It was 10 years ago and it appears no other club is like that. But it happened.
  4. I'm sure there were waivers signed.

Cripps is going to be one of the best in the league, Oli is on the path but not there yet. Cripps dominance against us late last season was incredible to watch.
  6. So Gatto confirmed the story was true didn't he? And has Charter the [censored] now said he can "clear" the players?
  7. Putting some $$ in the bank for Jake Carlisle pending claim.
  8. British cycling and TS sanctimonious attitudes T Fidge.
  9. Someone?! Mate there looks like a number of then went rogue, to many people involved for it to only be the Doc and Wiggins. I used to love the big cycling events, finding it harder and harder to stay engage. They don't seem like they really want to clean it up entirely or can't. Along with the questions on moto doping now days.
  10. hhmmm maybe they are waiting to see how he plays this season before making a claim? If he excels could they be lining up for a bigger claim?? ie I was a mess because of the whole saga and my profession was affected I want more $$.

    Swooper was gingerish wasn't he?
  12. Best of lucky Smithy. This part really stood out to me from the link above... "Smith said the fact that he and fellow rookie Declan Keilty was drafted from Melbourne’s VFL aligned side was a great example of how the ‘one club’ mentality had prospered. And he was proud to become somewhat of a poster boy for fellow draft prospects eager to make the transfer from Casey to Melbourne. “I’m absolutely rapt for Decs and myself,” he said. “It’s unbelievable and it couldn’t have been a better outcome for both of us and Casey. The alignment this year was super strong and probably the strongest it’s ever been in my time at the club. “I think for guys coming into Casey – it’s going to be a real focal point. There is a chance [that you can get drafted and play for Melbourne]. There is light at the end of the tunnel for guys that dig in and potentially be given an opportunity at AFL level.”
  13. Great to see, now, two of our own in shot.
  14. Great news for Smith, as others have said here is hoping the full time side of things allows him to develop further. He's not on the full list just yet but he has given himself a shot. Fantastic results for the Casey alignment too. Hopefully this draws more young talent to Casey to top up the club if some of the overlooked guys see it as a pathway to AFL.
  15. But but, Bomber and the Weapon said he was...
  16. The Age reporting.... he didn't front. Family emergency.
  17. One would hope Mitchell and Cotchin head over to Ess asking for compo for lost earnings as well.

  19. Hibberd kept a low profile compared to Lewis? No presser from Hibb?

All The Way. Hot about half way through this HBO film about LBJ taking over the presidency after JFK was gunned down. Really interesting view and Bryan Cranston is such a compelling actor.
  21. Bang bang and bang, the real keys to hibb are hopefully those 3. Our current flankers are not great 1-1 but keeping the skill level up with that trait could be massive for us. Then as you say release a Salem up the ground. We saw at VFL level some of his kicks hitting leading fwds from the wing on the weekend, before the grass took it revenge on his brain.

Wouldn't they frown upon batting in the crowd?

Even if it isn't all of our cups of tea, not all of us were around in the 70's EH so I'm sure there is some interest out there.
  24. Abe you tend to read players on long term injury can find it harder as they feel isolated from the team even though they are at the club. They spend all of the time with the physio's and others in rehab group, missing out on the other team stuff.
  25. Ha Saty you are a master at this internet business.. Saying someone else's continued bleating is tiresome. Haha kudos.
