ANB has always played footy hasn’t he, he’s no Mason Cox so I don’t quite get this thought process. His skills and decision making might just be not any good. I think he will improve from here and he can get back to some quality footy. If not go back and work on his game.

When he was appointed the fl og Ess fans I know thought it was hilarious as they didn’t rate him. They gave multiple examples (most escape me now) the major one being the Knights appointment. We can look back on it now and know PJ was a star at Ess and an even bigger star at the Dees.

He doesn’t need to be brilliant, he needs to be a good player in his role within the team. He is doing that at present, would be good to get a bit more on the attacking possessions side of things but that will come with the confidence he can lock down an opponent and then look to take off. Interetingly on the Dees podcast they discussed him training on our fwds and he said they were, by far, the hardest fwds to mark up on in the league. I'm sure a bit of mayo but a great place for him to learn his craft.

DaveyDee? PJ has turned the ship around and got it moving in the right direction but we’re not fully underway just yet. It’s been a mammoth task to get us here but we need to get better still, make no bones about it we need to be middle rung club member wise and sponsor wise long term. I know we’re knit picking 1 play but the arms need to be extended and so does the knee to keep the player coming out you away from you. Knee out and old mate doesn’t get near punching it.
