What I took out of Yesterday’s game, was that our new Coach has been able to implement a new Gameplan within a matter of weeks, that the players are obviously all on board with. Something our previous Coach could not do over 4 Seasons It stood out like Dogs Balls

If we are at this crossroad after 2 years of negotiations, then it all seems fairly flimsy to me. It wouldn’t take 12 months to build a short tunnel. Road Construction Companies can build a short tunnel over a weekend with the right equipment. It’s clear the MRC are not interested in having the MFC as a neighbour.

Hopefully a large amount of Supporters sign up as Members again, after today’s hit out. Yes it was only North, who were dreadful, but there was still some very precise and direct Football played today. The new Coach is challenging the players and they responded. I don’t usually get any excitement out of preseason games, but with the amount of Turnover within the Club at all levels, it was great to see the players committed to run hard I haven’t seen a style like that for many Seasons

I didn’t sign a multi year Huge Contract and then go off the rails, weeks later… Nobody is perfect, that is a Fact, but Clarry had little respect for the MFC as a whole for a long time and to still be pulling such a large amount of cash 💰 out of us is a very ordinary situation. It may not bother you, but I despise it… The Club did everything for Clarry and he gave us the finger….

Everyone has completely written us off..It's both predictable and expected. What nobody has mentioned, is that the main problems we had have been removed. So where the Club ends up in 2026 is entirely reliant on whether the whole Club has bought in to a totally new System. Yes our midfield looks a little vulnerable, and could be our downfall short term, The Midfield and Coaching style we had in place before was horrible and mostly unwatchable. If the new Coach wants a Career in this position, then we have to be Competitive from Round 1 onwards.

Pass Mark for the Club in 2026 Membership Numbers increase, that will only happen with wins and an entertaining style of play. Sadly lacking over the past 2 Seasons Young Players standing up, helping to create the new wins. Traded Players coming in, giving solid contributions and improving their own games So much has changed over the past 6 months, with more to come, it's hard to know how '26 will evolve A pass mark should always be finals (The AFL has just created a Top 10, which I think is crazy, but it's the way it is) Make Top 10 is a pretty low expectation I hope King has far higher expectations than 10th...
