  1. Agree. Nothing against Jack Henderson but a bit staggering that he got chosen before Jai. Take it though.
  2. Put a line through that then, the guy can barely put a coherent sentence together.
  3. 6 Gawn 5 Windsor 4 Rivers 3 Petty 2 T Mac 1 Oliver
  4. 6 Viney 5 Oliver 4 Salem 3 Gawn 2 Pickett 1 Petracca
  5. 6 Viney 5 Gawn 4 Rivers 3 Chandler 2 Fritsch 1 Bowey
  6. I feel for him also and still feel he can make it, but clear he needs to go back to Casey for a bit. Fingers crossed he can get a full pre-season, same for Windsor.

  8. Some v good summaries by @Kev and @Harvey Wallbanger . I went down and got to see most of it. I thought they were very good. Looked very sharp linking up out is stoppages and quickly getting it inside 50. Whilst the usual suspects were leading the charge, we look to have really good depth. ‘Fringe/emerging’ players like Taylor, Rigoni, Pisano, and Johnson showed promising glimpses. Thought all the new recruits showed a fair bit. O’Hehir looks most likely to get a start but the others not at all far behind. Forward line of Gall, Zanker, Harris, Bannan, Fitzsimmons - with Pisano, Campbell and Hore swapping through will be super dangerous. Paxman and McNamara excellent drive from the wings. Hard not to get excited for the season with a nice draw.
  9. After Goody says that where we are in the transition is essentially meshing/integrating the younger players with the older players, according to the media, in one of the weakest draft pools for some time and probably the most comprised draft pool ever, we are going to trade Trac, Clarry, Fritta (all mentioned here) and Lever (mentioned previously). If not, trading into future drafts compromised by Tassie. Doesn’t make sense in any way to me.
  10. 100% on this.
  11. 6 Petracca 5 Langford 4 Melksham 3 Fritsch 2 Oliver 1 T Mac
  12. Similar trajectory to Nibbler I reckon, if I remember correctly he (Nibbler) was in and out for a few years before he finally found his niche and if we are being honest at times looked like he wasn’t going to make it. Don’t believe Kolt’s had a full pre- season yet either. Maybe won’t be an ‘A-grader’, but strikes me as sometime who will play his role week in week out when he finds his groove.
  13. For me, ins are Petty and Howes if they both get up. Howes was good for a couple of games before GCS. Time to play Petty, JVR and Jeffo as the tall forwards for a few weeks. Give Jeffo a chance with the 3rd/4th defender. Outs would be Sharp and Fritsch, if not Tholstrup. Whoever out of those two stays would be sub. Other option would be to drop all three and bring back Windsor, pleasing that he had seven tackles for Casey (just stats, didn’t see the game).
