INTRACLUB: Friday 13th February 2026
I know its way to early but i think we might have nailed our recruiting and drafting this year, i think we were extreamly lucky X Taylor slipped through to our first pick he is exactly the type of player we needed and needed now , the only player i can think of on our list who has similar attubutes is steven may and with not only may but also mcdonald likley to retire next year and with ? On adams abilty , hopefully we will be thanking richmond and essendon for leaving him for us also to the GC for the exact pick we needed to get him. We seem to be very light on genuine goal kickers and with melksham also likley to retire next year L Pickett also hopefully fills a much needed need going forward , i like that we then doubled down and added another goalkicking small in matthews. We also lacked speed and all 3 have genuine speed as does another player we got via trade in jiath who by all reports can also lockdown and stop dangerous forwards he also becomes even more handy with bowey injured . Max Heath is another i like and we got him for nothing which makes it even better , another type we really needed to add to the list who is both young and srtong with plenty of upside and with the potential to become our next first ruck . Although im not impressed by not only losing oliver for nothing as well as having to pay him aswell he also left us with a now new hole we nedded to fill in our list with imo a contested ball winning mid short, which is why getting J Steel for nothing made sence , i am a bit concerned stkilda shopped him around to clubs for next to nothing with only us very late taking him , but the fact we got him for nothing and he seems to be doing well in preseason and also fills a need he so far looks like a good pick up. Mihochek i honestly dont rate but he does know where the big sticks are and another free hit as a free agent

Welcome to Demonland: Riley Onley
Interesting player, after watching him in the vic metro v vic country game he was one of a few who stood out for me, in that game he made a couple of eye catching runs down the middle of the ground , he was also good at shrugging and evading tackles, he also seemed to have a nice burst of speed for his size . It was a surprise to me why he was overlooked in the draft . Looking back at that game one thing i also noticed about him is that i didnt really see him use his height to his advantage ( think Harvey Langford as an example) and maybe the reason he was overlooked . I think onley has the perfect player in Harvey Langford who he can learn alot from.

Welcome to Demonland: Xavier Taylor
As long as he got rinsed responsivly who cares, he deserves a beer or two after winning a GF and being drafted

AFL Draft 2025: Pick 30 (formerly 37)
Played with X Lindsay last year so our scouts would of seen a fair bit of him and liked what they saw from a bottom age player, i would of thought X Lindsay has a high opinion of him and suspect he would of had a similar view with JT of matthews abilities

AFL Draft 2025: Pick 30 (formerly 37)
He was the captain for gippsland power in a team that included the number 1 draft pick Willem Duursma

AFL Draft 2025: Picks 7 & 8
If they finish 7th or 8th before finals then lose wildcard they will end up 9th or 10th This is up there with one of the worst posts ive seen lately , joking or not, this is imo being disrespectful to both players Sparrow is in our best 23 and about to hit his prime

AFL Draft 2025: Picks 7 & 8
That F1 pick might end up being a earlier first round pick next year compaired to what we would get in a trade this year. Gold coast will have a much harder draw next year, they only need to have bad luck with injuries, lose more close games than they win, have a bad pre season and that pick could end up P9 or 10 next year
