I don't know anything or anyone. But based on what is being inferred by other posters apparently"in the know", I assume that he feels that there were special allowances given to other players based on their personal issues or situations that he wasn't afforded when he himself had a life threatening injury.

I think that's why people are annoyed at Tracc, because Morris keeps reporting on this and it's assumed he's getting leaks from somewhere. It's not nice to hear your star player might want to leave and might be discussing this with the media.

What annoys me most is that he's acting like he's tracc's manager. First, he was saying he would request a trade if he could, now he's speaking about possible trade arrangements. It's like he's negotiating a contract for Tracc. Surely this is unprecedented. And I hate how much clout Morris thinks it gives him.

From what I've read about Carlton, there is no way any of their players want to leave. They have all taken an oath to try and win a premiership together. McKay and Curnow ain't leaving, despite how good Petracca is. And how would he fit into their midfield, which is already stacked.

Tom Morris seems only too delighted to report on this stuff too. I know he's a journalist, but it does seems like he has a special vendetta against the club. I think it's pretty significant that he's the one they are leaking to, considering his history with the club.

That's nice. As much as I'm annoyed at Tracc/his management for leaking to the media, I really hope that fans aren't giving him a hard time on social media. It's one thing to air grievances on a forum, but another to bother someone online.

That's not very good. I used to work in disability and was at the airport with some clients I was accompanying on a holiday. The Richmond team (who had won the premiership the previous year) was at the airport. One of our clients was a massive Tiger fan and Damian Hardwick and some other players were amazing - they had a photo taken with her and were super lovely. That's when you learn about a person's character - when they are lovely when the cameras are off.

Some press have been commenting on Viney's comments after the match, but have left out the "nah", instead focusing on the "we'll see how it pans out". Thoughts?

I posted to the wrong group 🫣. It really sounds like the club and tracc have a lot to work through before it's water under the bridge.

I completely sympathise with Trac's situation. I respect how he must be feeling and how he'd question some of the club's processes etc. But I don't like that he's been talking to the press, or has let someone leak. I felt the same when I heard about Harrison Petty organising the press stop when he was playing golf with Adelaide players. It's a business afterall. If I owned a high profile business I would not like it if my employee's were leaking information or grievances to the press.

They changed coach and president over that time because of the fall out of the racism scandal. Pendlebury didn't have to do anything because the club took action.

This may well be true. But if I'd started a media [censored]-storm I would be doing my best to be discreet. Meeting with opposition players is not an act of good faith and I think it would reflect very badly on him. I hate to think what other players are thinking.

I agree completely with this. The more this plays out the more I'm unimpressed with Trac and whoever leaked to the media.
