Seen some bad takes on this site. its been 157 game ssince Clayton has had back to back game sunder 20 disposals. since his 9th & 10th game. Relax on the trade Clayton narrative please.

Without reading every post, i just think we looked so flat early and for 90% of the game 82-53 tackles says it all. Its also ok for players to have down nights. Clayton looks like he has hit a bit of a rough patch.. its never happened to him before. But he cant handle the footy, so hopefully 2 weeks off might be good. Bailey and Petty were not great, Ben Brown was awful until last qtr. ANB worst game for the year. Viney non effective. Billings nothing. Sparrow passenger. Windosr only burst. McVee beaten. Howes nothing, Kolt was underwhelming. JVR regressing. Max, Tom Mc langdon i thought were our best. Onwards and upwards.

Kolt 4 Koz. Only change IMO. Perfect time for an injection of youth and attitude i reckon, 5 games in. Excited by this.

I think we have to be really smart and clinical with the petty contract. With Tassie coming in and potentially West coast getting assistance, drafpt picks are a premium.. if the offer is too good, then it may set us up for a good tilt at top end talent. Big decisions to think about. Of Course if Harry really wants to stay and his form is good enough then we keep him.

Can not change that side. They looked balanced and confident. We now have a luxury of making a player find form and fitness before they come back in. He will get his chance.

If he goes, then we will be well compensated.. Funny that Petty has become Wayne Carey after a couple games forward. the reliance and expectations on him to be the saviour up forward is laughable. I hope he is, but the sample size is tiny. Get a couple first rounders for him, turn him into a genuine fwd.

Im a bit bewildered by Tommo being dropped, he really does not get a great run at it. I wonder some time if its got to do with chemistry more than output? might be on my own here but i would prefer Tom Mc fwd, im not sure he has the agility as a back.. but happy to be proven wrong. Really the key in this game is our defence. They are stacked in the fwd line, i think we can edge them in the middle and we can expose their backline if we get it in there with purpose, but if we can nullify their weapoms we are in the game.

I feel like there has been a bit of hysteria after a R1 loss against a very good side at a ground that does not suit us in a game where our No 1 assett in maz had his colours lowered. I understand the disapointment, and we need to be alot better but i think we need a bigger sample size than 1 game. Koz obvs come sin and he will be huge for us. Billings must start not sube and im in teh camp that Laurie is not up to it. I would bring Kynan Brown and Kozz in for Bowey and Laurie. Spargo may be sub, i think he has a place in the side somewhere. Brown and Fullerton need more runs in the legs. Sadly Shache stays.
