  1. He's a boyhood Geelong fan. And when asked what team he would most want to be drafted to, he said Collingwood because of the crowd atmosphere.
  2. I'm yet to see much from him at AFL level that convinces me, but it's round 3 and it's so difficult to show your talent playing in such a dreadful team. I'm sure he'll prove me wrong with time. I should have worded it better - I think Windsor is more suited to our current needs. Maybe in a few years we'll be in more need of a Reid type, but I'd take Windsor over Reid this season from what I've seen so far.
  3. Windsor is a flashy player though? His goal was pure class. Just quietly he's looking like a better pick than Reid, but you can't really judge Reid playing in amongst one of the worst AFL teams in recent history
  4. @binman you're going to have to make sense of this for me. Lots of un-Dees like trends in this game. Our marks inside 50 are very low yet we are keeping up on the scoreboard. This is something I have noticed in previous games this year. Reckon we are making a point of going for more open-play goals given our issues converting set-shots? Or think this is just a product of our altered game plan with more handball chains of possession meaning we aren't kicking inside 50 to a lead as much?
  5. Agree, from what I've seen so far this season he's been given more liberty to burst forward, I hope this continues. I would love to see him get more of the footy, to be looked for as the outlet like Daicos and Sheezel are. He has all the attributes to be that high-possession half back for us, and I love that he is far more under the radar than those two just mentioned.
  6. Thoughts on our kick-ins so far this season? I really liked seeing Judd McVee take most of our kick-ins against Hawks. Most of our best ball users are at half-back - McVee, Bowey, Salem (when he's moved back), Rivers, and Howes if he keeps to the level he's been at so far. I hope we continue seeing McVee and co on kick-ins, less of May who can pretty much only go long and down the line.
  7. Re: Pies record in the wet. I remember their game against Richmond in round 3 being a wet low-scoring slug fest. It was close for most of the game mainly due to Pies inaccuracy. Obviously not as helpful to look at as it was early in the season when they were running out games better. https://www.afl.com.au/afl/matches/4804#team-stats
