  1. rivers great so far
  2. a good team will win this. go dees.
  3. billings sub! i dont have to eat my shoe!
  4. 32 touches, 24 kicks, 6 contested possessions, 8 intercepts, 9 marks (2 contested but that was highest on ground). I'd say he was pretty good.
  5. Yes, Woey has been good, but I said that because he ran out for Casey. We can only hope its to make sure he's fully match fit for a full game after the bye.
  6. Surely Woewodin is being made fit for a full game at casey and will come in after the bye. I hope. Happy with Howes in, not so much Billings and Laurie, would rather one of those two sub and a Kynan Brown debut.
  7. I will eat my own shoe if Billings isn't sub
  8. McAdam, Tommo, Woewodin, Hunter are guaranteed outs
  9. 6:20pm apparently
  10. Hunter is great but keeps getting injured. Not very excited about Billings, McAdam and Schache. Billings and McAdam have shown glimpses but not enough to get that excited over. Schache just seems like a VFL player, not enough drive for AFL level.
  11. Just read the article, seems Clarry will definitely play and that Goody is still too stubborn about Petty forward. I also think we'll want to go a bit taller up forward so Turner will stay in and Roo for McAdam. Straight swaps Howes-Tommo and Roo-McAdam. Then we pick from K Brown, Billings and Laurie for Hunter and Woewodin. To be honest, I'm still leaning on a K Brown debut and Laurie sub, since they were both named on the ground at casey, but Billings could play.
  12. Which article? Also, generally we play one or two of our emergencies in the VFL, so its unusual to have named casey players on the ground pulled out just to be an emergency. We have at least Hunter, McAdam, Woewodin and Tommo not playing this week (Hunter Inj., rest playing for casey today), so 3 outs from our 22 and a sub needed. From the three named on-field Casey players not on the final lineup (K Brown, Howes and Laurie), I think they will all play (or sub), as I don't see us withdrawing a Casey player that wasn't on the IC unless they were playing. I think of the two players originally named on the bench but not playing (Turner and Billings), one will play and one will be an EMG who doesn't play VFL this week. Most likely Turner will play, and Petty may even move down back. Generally clubs don't play a debutant as a sub, and I don't think we will. Howes also played great in the VFL so I think he will play. Sub likely Billings or Laurie.
  13. Jeffo is playing vfl
  14. I'm not sure, very different selection week. They basically didn't even name a casey team, just a squad. I'm speculating a potential debut as K Brown, Laurie and Howes were all actually named on the ground for Casey initially, instead of the bench like we're used to for tentative picks. Selection thought has gone into K Brown, Laurie and Howes and I don't think we'd mess with that unless they were playing at AFL level. Still wild speculation though.
  15. laurie, k brown, billings, turner, howes not in final casey lineup. tommo, woewodin and mcadam playing at casey. Im expecting petty to move back in place of tommo and roo to play forward again. turner, billings or laurie as sub options and others emergency. k brown may debut in place of mcadam. oliver may be rested and riv may get some time in the mid with howes coming in behind
  16. from casey runout seems woewodin, tommo, mcadam out and roo, billings and maybe even k. Brown in. billings probably sub.
  17. 6. Gawn 5. Viney 4. Tmac 3. Tommo 2. ANB 1. May
  18. we absolutely dominated the last half, 4 goals to 8.
  19. Don't kid yourself, we deserved to win that. That pretty obviously touched by May "goal" and the dangerous tackle call too. Thats a moral victory and shows us that when we bring our best out, we are incredible. Just need to tidy up the first halves.
  20. idk, we played really badly today, but I think it's nice that a terrible loss for us now is only 22 points. I don't think we're in as bad of a place that people think.
  21. Look, that was very bad, but at least the worst performance I've seen them put out in years is only a 22 point loss, with a few of those shocking umpiring decisions going our way it might've (somehow) only been 2 goals. One of last year's Grand Finalists playing at their best for the year can only beat us playing at our worst by 22 points. I think we've had the hardest fixture so far this year, god knows why, in all their wisdom, the AFL chose to give Sydney the bye this week instead of us. Managing to go 4/6 is a pretty big achievement for what we've faced so far. They get a big rest after a hectic last two weeks, and hopefully they come out firing. It's not over yet, the season's only just begun. We can go all the way this year.
  22. We're stretched a bit thin for our likely outs right now, so some will be really lucky to keep their spots. Here's what I can think of: Maybe Moniz-Wakefield debut for a likely injured Salem. Billings out, Kozzy in. Whatever best performing vfl tall we can find for Petty (anything except Schache please). Potentially Oliver out (I think he needs a short stint in the VFL to return to form) and Hunter in, depending on how both pull up. If both great bring Hunter in for Kolt. If any VFL option for Brown we need to let him rest. What do you all think we could see changed for Anzac Eve?
