-
ive got super patchy connection so cant watch the game, but im listening to sen, can anyone tell me if Kolts goals looked as great as they made them sound?
-
well i for one am happy kolt isnt sub!
-
Predicting amazing games for Tmac, Gawn, AMW, Rivers and JVR, hope I'm right. Melksham to kick 2 or 3 as well!
-
I'm not too worried about Waterman today, missed MCG training and carrying an injury.
-
So upset I can't make it there today! To everyone going, make some real noise for them and lets hope they fire. Whats everyones general feelings about today? Confident, uncomfortable or something else and why? Personally feeling confident, dees by 45.
-
if melksham plays well, that's a really solid team
-
it was the lions game to lose and they mightve already done it with all their aggressiveness
-
back to 9 points, not sure how but i think were actually playing better here
-
Super strange, if theyd played normally we would have rolled over, they just had to put some fight into us here.
-
strange game, brissy playing emotional and aggressive and making poor errors. they should be well in front (especially considering the current free kick count) but theyve really messed up. if they controlled themselves better we wouldve probably rolled over and they would win easy, but now there's some fight

6 - Rivers 5 - Viney 4 - Gawn 3 - May 2 - ANB 1 - K Brown, we would've lost it without him.
-
If he didn't grab at his head like that he would've gotten off, bit silly of him.

Absolutely loved Rivers in a bit more of a midfield role, one of his best games ever. Hope we give him even more time there next week. 559m gained, 6 I50s and 4 R50s, a goal and 21 touches! Turner turned up today and that was good to see, he's getting better at positioning, which has been his weak point in my opinion. Viney stepped up in clearances when needed, great performance. Only minor complaints to be had about his disposal efficiency otherwise he was immense. Gawn and ANB with classy performances as always. Tholstrup with about 50 tackles, loving the physicality hes bringing at such a young age here. Sparrow showing some sparks, hopefully that continues. Immense effort from Langdon, played 100% of the game and was absolutely everywhere, covered nearly 17km! May with 9 intercepts, combining for SEVENTEEN total with Tommo. Oh and of course Kynan Brown saving the game when only given 8 minutes of play time, hope we give him a real game soon, thought it was poor form to debut him as sub. Hope Salem is okay seems he was subbed off and sore. Still a few passengers and some players having off nights, but was so nice to see some life from the players yesterday. Hope Petracca recovers quickly and is doing okay, at least in a way this is making us try some other options in the mid. Would love to see Rivers playing even more mid time and maybe even Oliver at CHB next week, hes just a bit too rusty at this point and the taggers are getting to him.

Most of our fines for the melee were from our young players, good to see them with some spirit!

Anyone saying riv out is delusional. I guess ideally for me we have Sparrow moving to sub (been on thin ice last couple weeks) and Billings out, Petty, Laurie and Trac (inj) out. If Lever is fit, Howes out. Turner only stays because we have no other options. Jeffo doesn't seem ready to come in yet, and not sure about Fullarton just yet. Ideally Lever in (if not Howes stays), and Tholstrup, Woewodin, AMW and maybe Sestan in. Riv to play more of a mid role with Trac out, and AMW at half back. Sparrow sub.

rivers great so far

a good team will win this. go dees.
-
billings sub! i dont have to eat my shoe!

32 touches, 24 kicks, 6 contested possessions, 8 intercepts, 9 marks (2 contested but that was highest on ground). I'd say he was pretty good.
-
Yes, Woey has been good, but I said that because he ran out for Casey. We can only hope its to make sure he's fully match fit for a full game after the bye.
