  1. well that's me unfortunately
  2. yep I agree last week we/they were all still running on adrenaline and now we've hit the deck, actually we were close to to them in a lot of stats except for conversion for goals unsurprisingly, not good but not all bad
  3. Yes I just had a "friend" a hawthorn supporter no less happily tell me the BrayshawMaynard incident was just a "football Incident" defending Collingwood, It may well be the end of the affair I can tell you
  4. Didn't blame you guys at all for no Pod last week I had just about stopped listening anyway, re C Wilsons set to in the Age fair dinkum I just wish she would go away and leave us alone, I don't care if all or none of it is true we fans, supporters, members, players etc etc have had enough, we don't need any more of her manure being put around, she is disgusting, anyhow thanks for all your efforts
  5. probably more dedicated than anyone at the moment
  6. performance based pay, base rate in accordance with player ability, bonuses earned in accordance with fulfilled or not requirements of on field role,
  7. Just not necessary, junk comment
  8. well we all lost our collective faith, heads etc but fortunately those inside the football club didn't lose theirs, the one person I felt more for with this win was Goody he has copped it fair and square from every direction, myself included surely we can see that he still knows what he's doing and just give him some support, keep up the good work boys we love you all 😉
  9. its funny before "the Crash' everybody wanted to know every conceivable bit of everything that happened at training haha now its oh so ho hum, quite funny really
  10. is it not worth putting Jack Viney into a forward pocket, he can put some tackling pressure on and help with organisation and kick the odd one
  11. well call me naive or whatever but I actually feel almost positive after last night, given our parlorous position at the moment we at least had a dip, missed scoring opportunities, umpiring decisions, players out out of confidence and still an unsettled side we managed to put together a start, ok maybe all our expectations were out of whack (clubs and fans) so lets just keep progressing forward, still some good footballers to come back in to the side, just keep going, and you guys too
  12. there is something weird and drastically wrong here, a narrow "honourable" loss followed by two losses which by any measure cannot be explained away just through loss of form...give me a break, a strange cryptic post match interview from Max and not much better from S Goodwin, most of the senior players look totally disinterested, normally I'm pretty upbeat but not this time, thanks boys
  13. lets see how those comments age
  14. yes a very strange/odd/wierd and really unforgivable reaction to the whole situation I thought and then trac goes and gets piled into and the subsequent aftermath with Trac, its still all an elephant in the room situation for me
  15. Thanks whisperer for all your efforts, you can have good rest like the rest of us
  16. Thanks Whisperer I needed a good laugh, good job
  17. yes I totally agree, the year post flag he totally laid down I thought and was a non contributor, really should have been dropped, no I can't forgive him yet for that, too blatant I'm afraid, but I will say he probably is the one player that we haven't come close to replacing unfortunately
  18. Good on you Whispering Jack in the positive spirit of Binman lets bloody go for it I say
  19. it was a desperately sad and depressing way to lose a game maybe even worse than last week because really it was game we could have won, however lose we did and now with Petracca out for an extended period another challenging period awaits, time for calm heads and steely resolve if there is indeed such a thing, as for myself well I'm just refusing point blank to give up, not until I absolutely have to and that's it
  20. you're not in too bad a form yourself George with that write up mate
  21. The hawks are forked I quite like that George
  22. No question here but just saying there was a lot hanging on that game, a lot of built up emotion, hope and expectation, as a club we really had to come out and make a statement and I think we did and Olivers standing ovation and the emotion that went with it really says everything about what supporters and club have been through in this last period of time, thanks !
  23. I think maybe when we get back to playing decent football on a regular basis one may hear our voices rise in volume again, yes we don't want to be anything like them at all
