Sorry but I think this comment is overly presumptive, disrespectful and most probably ill founded. Speaking to a regular at training (not Saty, although he would probably agree with my sentiments), the problem is more likely his body type/shape. My friend would like to see him fined down a la Harmes, as from observation Trac struggles to keep at that peak. I had an interesting debate with him because we didn't know if it was possible and what would be given up if it happened. I quoted Tracs current ability to absolutely bust through tackles and we both want to see him able to do it repeatedly but currently after he does this he is like a capacitor that needs to be recharged till he can go again. This might look to your eyes like he is standing around satisfied with himself but I do not agree.- WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - NATALIE PORTMAN
Would imagine iSelect would be very happy, Zurich not so much , although there may have been other factors.- 2019 Contracts and List Details
Heh Mod can you delete my post above. Got myself confused on Lucifer's original post.- 2019 Contracts and List Details
Are you sure May will be 31 at end of season? Not sure JJ's age is correct also.- Andrew Brayshaw
Sorry DC, you need to look up the meaning of protagonist. Gaff is a perpetrator and by extension most definitely not a victim.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
Retiring next year and intend to live a much simpler life. Thanks though.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
Very simplistic.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
Someone mentioned the word "pragmatic" eons ago, that is exactly the point. We are not after May because we don't wont JH. We want May if we lose Hogan. If there is a way to pick up May and keep Hogan then ....happy days!- Farewell Jesse Hogan
Hopefully someone will sit Jesse down without his Manager and explain the first rules of negotiation. 1. What are the needs of the other side? 2. Always look for the "Blue" Do I need to explain what the "Red" is! Take a bow Dorks! 3. Do your due diligence eg pressure points, hopes vs wants. 4. Only seriously low ball and potentially insult the the other party when having addressed the above 3 and being in a position of power and even then do it with grace and honesty. 5. Never give your hand away by making things public until you are sure of the outcome. 6. It's ok to withhold, it's not ok to mislead. (Caveat: Unless you absolutely know you won't get caught out) 7. The best and easiest negotiations are Win/Win I could go on but by now you might see that there is one side that has known what they are doing and if JH doesn't recognise that then I will be happy to see him cut lose next year. As a friend often says "You can't put brains in monuments". Disclaimer: Yes, I have significant training and experience in this area and I have had negotiations break down and people walk away. Never have I had a feeling that the people walking away didn't think I was not to be trusted or that our time had been wasted.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
We have a winner!! Beers are good downstairs but the Whisky Master upstairs knows his spirits. I don't want to deter anyone but Mrs Worship was impressed with the 60 or so varieties of Gin and the 80 odd Vodkas as well- Farewell Jesse Hogan
Sorry, but a change in name to Muppet is starting to look appropriate.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
I know a place in Queenscliff- Farewell Jesse Hogan
F the small glass- Farewell Jesse Hogan
Would you believe.... "insert Maxwell Smart" line here- Farewell Jesse Hogan
$1.2m ... time to dig the old "Scully" money bag out of the bottom draw. No matter what we get in return he will need to cop it if he plays us over here and his nose needs to be rubbed in it during our next 5 yrs of dominance.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
Cannot be bothered going back through the 46 previous pages to see if this has been raised previously but my response to an Essendon supporting mate today was.... "why the rush, I'd like to see a Demons side with any 3 at one time of Weid, Tmac, Gawn, and Hogan on the ground. Occasionally we might have all 4 out there, wouldn't that be a nightmare for the opposition. Our side is not based on a stay at home forward or a ruck that only does ruck work. People need to stop buying into media BS and realise there may be a case to eventually trade someone to make for a stronger list but at the moment we have no idea where the ceiling is for most of the current list . In simple terms .. lets not throw the baby out with the bath water.- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CHARLIE SPARGO
Love watching the effort of both Spargo and Fritsch. Particularly Spargo as he goes from contest to contest.- Angus Brayshaw
I live in Ballarat and I think you're soft- Adelaide’s Tom Lynch
Cough, splutter, choke....... you do know he is 20?- Brendan McCartney - Moved to the bench
I like what you bring to the forum and appreciate your comments and support of the club however you are trashing yourself and your information if you don't acknowledge you were incorrect in some of your assertions. It's called being humble.- Sam Weideman

- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CLAYTON OLIVER
The knock on Wines in the draft (on here and elsewhere) was always; no upside, no class, no polish and Toumpas was seen as best available ( If Roos had the final say I think the outcome would have been different). Toumpas was always a smooth mover, looked good, not stilted or mechanical at all. Sorry, I can be a bit obtuse, first and foremost, we no longer recruit players who are not competitive and they usually have second and third efforts. We also seem to now pick players who are well developed in the lower body. For these reasons it wouldn't surprise me if Oliver was picked up, he wont look classy but that's not a term I've heard applied to Viney, Capt Chunk or Brayshaw. I'm pretty sure Clarkson has stated he would want Viney's attitude in every player he ever coached. Oliver appears to have a similar way, certainly Wines does and although Parish doesn't really fit the "build" he appears to have the attitude also. I'm not saying we should take Oliver at 3 but if we did I can understand why.- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CLAYTON OLIVER
You wanted Toumpas ahead of Wines? That's my second point. - WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - TOM SPARROW
