Every club participates in the draft, and every club's supporters have the right to expect their #1 pick to at least see out the first contract.

We booed Tom Scully for years, after at least serving out his initial contract. JHF did something that undermines the integrity of the draft basically. Imagine if every #1 did what he did.

Jeremy Finlayson looks like such an ammo-level footballer but is an absolute quality forward/ruck.

Not sure Freo's draft haul from finishing low on the ladder this year will quite match what the Demons accomplished after 2019.
