GAMEDAY: Match SIM Melbourne vs St. Kilda
If Hunter plays like this during the actual season then he'll end up being the recruit of the year.

What I'd Like to See from the MFC in Twenty Twenty Three
It would be helpful if our record at the MCG matches our record outside Victoria.

Gawn vs Cox
They're easily the two best ruckmen of the modern era. As @DubDee said, it's very hard to split them. That being said, Gawn's 2018 season was probably better than anything Cox produced.

Your top 3 wishes for Season 2023
1. Langdon and Hunter become a formidable wing duo. 2. Brown regains his fitness and kicks 40+ goals. 3. Fritsch finally gets an AA jacket.

2022 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett
He's already had two seasons in which he's kicked 40+ goals. That's insane for a 21-year-old small forward.
-
2022 Player Reviews: #15 Ed Langdon
He's off his head. Langdon was exactly the kind of player we were lacking when we recruited him.

Farewell Sam Weideman
Oh well. Weideman's career at Melbourne hasn't panned out in the way we hoped but he'll always live with that Elimination Final.

FINALS 2022: Week 03
Sickening to watch Geelong play well. And a comment on how we let things slip up.

GAMEDAY: SF vs Brisbane
We've only woken up when it's too late. Infuriating.

GAMEDAY: SF vs Brisbane
Imagine if all our players were as accurate as Fritsch.

GAMEDAY: SF vs Brisbane
This is a slow car crash.

GAMEDAY: SF vs Brisbane
Loving ANB's game so far.

Clayton Oliver: A Demon for Life
He must be livid about tonight's result. He almost carried the team in the third quarter. He's an absolute freak. I don't know where we'd be without him.
-
GAMEDAY: QF vs Sydney
Oliver's will to win is off the charts.

GAMEDAY: QF vs Sydney
Spargo's been on fire this quarter.

2022 All Australian Squad
I'm glad thad Fritsch's season has been recognised. I'd go so far as to say that he's been the best medium forward for two years.

NON-MFC: Round 23, 2022
I honestly won't be bothered if we end up playing at our first final at the SCG. I always back us to win big games outside Victoria.

POSTGAME: Rd 23 vs Brisbane
What a win! Without a doubt that was our best performance of the year. I knew from the opening bounce that we were on. Our forwardline finally clicked. Brown, Melksham, Pickett and Fritsch can all take a bow. Bring on the Swans. If we play like we did tonight, we'll have them covered regardless of where we play.

GAMEDAY: Rd 23 vs Brisbane
That was the definition of a professional quarter. Brisbane looked prepared to fight back in the first 5 minutes but we managed to stop their momentum and get back on top. That's what good sides do.

GAMEDAY: Rd 23 vs Brisbane
I'm shellshocked. That was the most dominant first half I've ever seen. I'd take any win from here but I'm hoping this blows out to over 100 points. I haven't seen a team look as flustered as Brisbane do now.

GAMEDAY: Rd 23 vs Brisbane
Possibly our best quarter of the season. No capitulation please. Some of these Brisbane players are awful, especially Zorko and Matheson.
-
GAMEDAY: Rd 23 vs Brisbane
Melksham has rediscovered confidence. Looks like his 2018 self.

GAMEDAY: Rd 23 vs Brisbane
Jake Lever's kicking goals. Hopefully that means this is our day.

Veil of Negativity
Some of the comments in the post match thread were depressing to read. In hindsight I actually loved yesterday's game. I'd be lying if I said that I never felt stressed and frustrated throughout the game but it was a brilliant contest between two teams who both had lots to play for. I think we should all be proud of last night's win. Carlton were always going to come out firing and we stood up when it mattered.
