Oliver has been insanely good.

I'm sorry, that is a very strange comment. If you took the time to read Gawn's book and watch some of his past press conferences, you'll find that he's very complimentary towards his team mates. He's the kind of captain we need in this situation. The fact that you're suggesting that Gawn is responsible for what took place last Sunday is bewildering. May and Melksham are both grown men and they're old enough to manage their own behaviour.
-
We're so lucky that Gawn's our captain. I knew he wouldn't be happy about the incident. It's refreshing to have a leader who doesn't refrain from expressing what he really thinks.
-
Our forwardline's a bit of a mess at the moment. A shame because we're playing well in almost all other areas of the ground.

This is what the infamous Dr D said about us last July: We ended up winning three of the four games that he mentioned and the losses to Adelaide and Collingwood turned out to be hugely insignificant. Unless you were living under a rock throughout 2021, surely you would have learnt that our performances against bottom sides don't determine how we play against top sides.
-
One of those games where you just bank the four points and move on to next week. The game certainly wasn't without its frustrations but I was expecting North to challenge us given that teams are clearly trying to find ways to shut us down. Oliver can take a bow. Best on ground by a country mile. Can't complain with being 10-0. We're off to an even better start than last year.

Oh well. I'll take a 10 point lead at quarter time. I get that it's easy to make fun of NM but I expect every opponent to be competitive against us. -
Seriously, that's a very childish comment. If you disagree with his post, you should make an effort to actually explain where he's wrong. You're not doing yourself any favours resorting to deragatory labels such as "woke."

This is why we're considered the best side. Even when teams come at us, we find a way to stop their momentum and prevent them from getting back in the game. We're just so difficult to beat. Langdon is an absolute star. If he keeps performing at this level throughout the rest of the season, he'll definitely be in the All-Australian team. I'm loving Brayshaw's season as well. The defensive side of his game has improved out of sight.

Ha ha indeed.

There have only been five coaches in my lifetime (Daniher, Bailey, Neeld, Roos and Goodwin). Here's my ranking: 1. Goodwin 2. Daniher 3. Roos 4. Bailey 5. Neeld

Can you please calm down? We're not 'playing like trash' at all. I thought today's performance was actually very impressive given that five of our premership players were forced to isolate. The Melbourne of old never used to find ways to win in difficult circumstances like this. By the way, you seem to be forgetting that we had many ugly wins during the 2021 H & A season but peaked at the right time. Why can't that happen again this year? Just try to be grateful. We've won 14 in a row, for god's sake.

As usual, we got the job done. Our innaccuracy front of goal was certainly frustrating to watch but at least we didn't let Richmond take advantage of it. Tonight showed that teams find it difficult to play against us. We're impossible to score against. Oliver was unbelievable. He was the difference between the two sides. Fritsch is such an important part of our forwardline. Even when he's not getting many possessions, he changes the momentum of the game by kicking crucial goals.
-
Need a big second half from Petracca. We normally win when he's on.
-
If Richmond are able to kick straight I don't know what our problem is.

Love supporting this club at the moment. Spargo is an absolute gem. Amazing how people wanted him desisted a year and a half ago.

Brilliant win. I didn't for a second feel worried throughout the entire match. There's no point in complaining about the last 15 minutes. Beating a side by 5 goals in front of their home crowd is always an accomplishment in my book. Gawn was absolutely phenomenal. He's looking like himself again. Harmes continues to silence his doubters. His last two games have been excellent.

The work that Pickett does around the ground is underrated -
Are you actually serious? We were literally missing Brown, Salem, Lever, Hibberd and Petty. If anyone was undermanned, it was us. There was absolutely nothing wrong with our win at all. Some people are still yet to understand that top teams don't always need to have pretty wins. We're getting the job done.
-
Not going to happen. He didn't have his biggest game but he still did enough. He's far too good to 'rest.'
-
Another very professional win. We were challenged throughout most of the game but we've developed an outstanding ability to grind out wins when we're not at our absolute best. Oliver played one of his usual brilliant games. Brayshaw just keeps getting better every week. He and Langdon have become a killer wing duo. Weideman's earned himself another game. Good on him.
