Tough at the selection table this week. If Cox plays we must select Grundy (sorry). I hear T Mac is cherry ripe so he's in. Wouldn't like to drop Laurie. Judd McVee hasn't lowered his colours to anybody this year and he can sort Elliot. Melks and Turner out (sorry again) with Smithy as sub.

I've said it before and I'll say it again Judd McVee is a limousine cruising out of our backline garage. Has barely lowered his colours all season and played on the best of the best.

It will be good to see Disco get a run even though I think Tomo has been serviceable. Don't know why Laurie was picked for a single game - and he wasn't too bad (but not exciting) and needs to find his feet at senior level - so should have been given another run. None of our small forwards had impact on last week's game and he was just as quiet as Kozzie and Kade.

Of course if Port tank then they will end up 4th and avoid going to Brisbane.

In cricket the batsman gets the benefit of the doubt in a close call but in footy the decision is the opposite and the goal kicker does not get that benefit.

I freely admit that I was sceptical about Milkshake's return after the Fritta injury but he has established himself as an integral part of our (recently) developed forward structure. So much so that - and I know I'll cop it for saying this - Jake should remain in the side instead of him. He apples more pressure than Fritta fo one thing and for another we should not try to squeeze Fritta back into a fully functioning forward setup. Can't [play them both in the same team for mine. Besides, Jake can't be far off 100 games for us. And on a completely unrelated topic : will Richmond be in trouble for tanking this round. They pulled Cotchin which is maybe OK but Dusty? Resting him at this stage of the year? Come off i!

If Tom Sparrow is good to go you'd bring him in for the guy who replaced him - Harmesy.

Don't disagree on Petty forward and have pushed for this before, BUT....how fit is he? That's my concern.
