McVee is leaving and he’s already left mentally, he’s been gone all year. Sharp is a waste of space. JVR has had a bad year and he can’t play in wet. Sparrow and Chandler are also wastes of space! And a few others have switched off for the year, I’ll go next Friday because I think they’ll do better against pies.

Frank Ponisi is a good pick, he knows the club well because they train at same place, most Storm players support Melbourne. Jobe Watson is ok, he knows football, have no problem with any of the people on the panel. The job is Buckley’s if he wants it, I don’t know if he wants it, he’ll probably go to Tassie. If Buckley knocks it back I hope they give it to Cam Bruce, he’s been an assistant for 15 years, at Hawthorn with Clarkson, Carlton for not long then Brisbane with Fagan, he’s had premiership experience and he’s a former star of the club, we haven’t had an ex player coach the club since Barassi, aside from 10 games from Todd V and a few from Hutchison. If we could drag Yze from Richmond that would be my choice but that won’t happen. So first I think Buckley, he was just very unlucky with Collingwood, he set them up for a flag, I think we could win the flag next year with Buckley, same way Mccrae did at Collingwood after he took over from Buckley. Otherwise Cam Bruce👍

Buckley is the best man for the job, he has really high profile, would be able to sell the club and he’s a bloody good coach, he was very unlucky to not win the flag in ‘18, he would be ideal, I think no players would want to leave.

As you heard Goodwin say, he won’t miss driving down to Casey, players hate playing for the club because you have to drive for 90 minutes to get to the training ground. We won’t get anymore decent players until we have a proper base in Melbourne city, or within 10km of CBD. I’ve supported this club all my long life and we’ve never had a real base, players hate it, coaches hate it and supporters hate it. Where the hell Gary Pert is who knows, he’s supposed to be getting Caulfield as a base, haven’t heard anything for 12 months, l mean WTF?

If Goodwin had any integrity he would realise the players are finished listening to him, don’t know if it’s Max that’s keeping him there because they’re such great mates I don’t know, but Max has got 2 more years and the club needs a new voice, Buckley or Longmire or get Yze back.
