  1. swans starting to tighten up here. they need to kick a goal
  2. ridiculous decision
  3. They'll have to hub here for a few weeks if not the rest of the season. Will make it tough for them to win it
  4. both teams in good touch early. Looks like it will be a decent game
  5. I’m sure the GWS players are enjoying the opportunity to play in front of a bigger crowd compared to a normal home game at Blacktown
  6. And again in the Granny. Potentially 3 times in the space of a month
  7. Hope the AFL make the quarters longer. It would be worth it to see Chris Scott's head explode
  8. Kane Cornes made a valid point this morning on the AFL website. Brown leading hard up to the ball created the space in behind that we were able to exploit, Petracca in particular
  9. He was a strong contributor yesterday but he can't clunk em. That's a terminal problem for a KPF. At the moment he's back-up for Dogga in the supporting ruck role. I think he can play that position quite well so is very good depth for us
  10. I foresee some late season percentage boosts for us. Both Hawks and Crows putrid this round. Both have their minds on the beach so anything other than big wins for us when we play them will be a missed opportunity
  11. I'm delighted for Ash Barty. She's a little champion. Her only flaw is she's a tiges supporter but then nobody is perfect
  12. a lot of flopping in this game. reckon the players have been watching too much of the Euro 2020
  13. If Mac Andrew wasn't tied to our academy would we be even talking about him? Dogga has the ruck position covered so why would we draft him. He doesn't fill an obvious need.
  14. We mustn't have had a say. This trip makes no sense on any level for the club. We've copped the worst of it financially missing out on the QB and Alice games and now have to travel to Darwin in the run up to finals for no logical reason. If anything the club should have told the AFL where to go. We don't owe them money and are not beholden to them. Or maybe we are in financial trouble and there's a quid pro quo here somewhere. I'd like to know what it is because on face value there is no reason why we would agree to this.
  15. I know we're not a team that wins by big margins but surely we should smash Adelaide in Round 22. They have their cue in the rack and the holidays booked by the looks of it. I switched off after half time. One of the worst Friday night games since Carlton stuck it up a few seasons ago after being inexplicably handed some prime time slots.
  16. So we're not the only club that worries about whether Carlton have gone past us
  17. BB looks lean and fit. Copped a hefty hit early but shrugged it off. He may only have had 10 touches but I don’t remember him wasting any possessions. Ground level game much better than he gets credit for. Marked the ball when delivered in front of him. Brought the ball to ground on occasion Got nudged under a few but delivery wasn’t ideal. If we can hit him up leading out from the square we’ll really be in business. Now that his body is right I expect him to grow into the role and cement his spot. I’ve no axe to grind with the Weid and hope one day he can fulfil his potential, but for mine BB stays in the team for the rest of the year
  18. BT is obviously a boofhead and James Brayshaw's sshtick is well past its use by date. for me though the most beige and banal commentator is Cameron Ling. For the type of player he was I would have assumed a forthright, no nonsense style. He's the exact opposite. I've never heard a single insight pass his lips
  19. I always listen to the commentary muted but gave it a go last night because BT wasn't commenting. I'm glad i did because Justin Leppitsch was excellent. Worth putting up with the other nuffies if he's involved. AFLW commentary was very good this year as well. None of the hyperbolic BS you get with the mens commentary
  20. Harmes has been poor. I'd seriously consider dropping him but will understand if he's retained. A poor game against the Hawks though and he'll have to make way.
  21. Great response last night after a rough patch of form Our stars shone but nearly every player contributed Petty’s best game in the red and blue. Hunt having a great season and far exceeding my expectations. JJ is a revelation. So consistent. The heir to James McDonald? BB looked fit and mobile. His presence made a huge difference and I don’t think it’s a coincidence that TMac was back to his best last night with BB in the team beside him Harmes is a worry. ANB fumbly but ran himself into the ground. Dogga quiet but clunked an excellent mark and slotted our first goal. He’ll be some weapon in years to come Shout out to goody and the coaching team. We’ve had a tough run but back to our best last night. We were switched on from the get-go All in all a very satisfactory nights work Go Dees
  22. i was half joking jnr First time this year my faith was starting to waver. Last 3 games uninspiring. We were back to our suffocating best though last night. Pressure gauge turned right back up again. Hence i'm back on the bandwagon
  23. Reckon we secured Top 4 tonight. Massive win.
