  5. don't understand why bill Laurie isn't given a run i hope he gets a chance at another AFL club. deserves the opportunity to see if he has what it takes.
  6. If toxicity is your thing you should watch some of the EFL fan channels Deebrief very tame in comparison
  7. North outs make this a must win game. Lose to an injury ravaged North and the club will officially be in crisis mode that said i reckon we win by 20-30 points
  8. I had low expectations but i didn't think it was too bad. the guy in the baseball cap not bad. the other 2, I wouldn't pay too much attention to. They discuss the same issues we do here. Some of their prescriptions though. Why anyone thinks Nathan Buckley is the answer is beyond me. Took a premiership pies list and drove it into the ground. Plus he's been sitting on a couch for 3 years.
  9. players need to respect their coaches respect comes from a clear game plan and clear role instructions and the ability to instil belief and confidence in that plan part tactician / part communication skills / part psychologist the psychologist part is the hardest. the coach needs to know his players individual personality and psyche because that will inform the best way to manage and motivate them individually.
  10. 2 bald men fighting over a comb
  11. Vossy looking very forlorn. his days are well and truly numbered still, if he's still interested in coaching, I'd like to give him responsibility for our midfield next year. did a good job with Port in that role.
  12. always enjoyable watching carlton get pumped
  13. Logan Morris has been some find for the Lions
  14. rubbish 50
  15. you could make a claim for 5-6 established players to be dropped. salem, Fritsch, sparrow, chin. even langdon
  16. if any team deserves to stuff up touching it for a behind on their own goal line its Carlton
  17. we're a very dysfunctional club at the moment temporary CEO and president Richardson, Goody, chooco, line coaches all unperforming senior players under performing Tim Lamb trading no good plenty of blame to go around outside of JT recruiting and some promising players, there's a lot of work to be done
  18. brilliant torp after the qtr time siren
  19. not really. following sports teams involves much more disappointment than enjoyment. its just the nature of it.
  20. hipwood is not a very good footballer
  21. bad start carlton. very flat atmosphere. reckon they are goin to get pumped
  22. If the club is serious, he should be the first to be shown the door.
  23. some good games to look forward to. suns pies looks the pick of the round.
  24. there doesn't appear to be any great desire for this. As a naturalised Victorian, i can't ever see myself cheering on the likes of Dangerfield and Daicos when they play for vic.
  25. Lever trac clarry and fritsch have trade value, albeit we will have to eat some of their salary to move them on May and viney are too old and have no trade value, so better to keep around to lead the youngsters Max is untradeable because he's a legend and busts a gut all the time. Plus we have no ruck back-up. He would also be great to mentor our next ruck (whoever that might be) I'm not fussed about what we do with lesser lights and depth players. we should do what we need to do to get some picks to replenish the list and get us ready for the next cycle of success
