You heard Maxy on triple M yesterday. The players will be up for this game. and remember, they don't have Goody to shield them now. they don't have goody to take the blame if i was a player, I'd want to show the powers that be that I'm worth my place on the list. there are 3 weeks remaining to do so this will not be a blow out. I can't see us losing by more than 15 points. and i won't be surprised if we win.

Maxy is far and away the best media performer currently playing AFL he has a bright future post playing career

I agree but i would like an experienced head of footy to compliment and guide the new coach. john Longmire would be my choice in this role

He’s a good user and decision maker in a team lacking those qualities. Obviously it’s his choice to stay or not, but I’d keep him around to see if the new coach can leverage his qualities.

If both Clarry and Trac are invested then I reckon we should retain unless we receive an offer for either we deem acceptable (possibly for Trac, highly unlikely for clarry) Let's see if a new coach can get them back to playing their best. If he can then i reckon finals is not out of the question

the head coach is gone, and a number of assistant coaching appointments have not worked out. that's on Richo i reckon soft cap considerations might keep him in the job for now but longer term we need a new head of footy

i think we are attractive to coach we have gawn, trac and kossie. might even get clarry firing again and windsor, lindsay and langford are good young players plenty to work with for the new coach

i expect a big response from the players show the world they weren't responsible for the poor results which led to goody's sacking happens often after a coach is sacked

a change was needed i'm looking forward to the post goody chapter. Goody himself will be fine. a $1m payout, a nice holiday and a head of footy dept at another club to look forward to (if he wants a role like that)

Brad Greene was never going to divulge the reasons for the sacking or the timing at todays press conference. Nor should he have the purpose of the presser was to give Goody his opportunity to speak before heading off into the sunset. i'm not a big fan of Brad Greene and think he should step off the board given he was in situ for our decline but i thought he handled todays presser perfectly fine.

i do not understand the obsession with Buckley at all. Swap one coach who presided over a steady decline with another. Please God no, not that FIGJAM. how many years has he been out of the game pontificating in the AFL media

Goody will be high on the list of candidates for any club looking for a head of footy

Got to say, goody coming across very well in this presser.

in terms of the leaker i think its someone from the inside rather than a player family etc. The noise the last week or so has been Goodys contract would not be an impediment to change. the board obviously paving the way for this decision

I hope goody gets to coach us for his final game And I hope every demons fan that can make it goes to the G and gives goody the send off he deserves
