  1. Peter Jackson laid the foundations for our flag. Pert rode on the coattails of his work. Memberships and sponsorships have flowed from PJ’s stellar work rather than Pert’s. and the financial stability is a result of selling assets. assets which were acquired before his time. Pert oversaw the FD review that delivered Yze and a shake-up to the coaching team post 2020. Thats to his credit. Not much that has happened since that I can point to that he has done well He’s as much tied to the failed home base situation as Kate Roffey He has blathered on about culture more than anyone. There’s the legal case pending that he’s up to his neck in. I think the decks are being cleared as a result of whats coming down the track in this regard as much as anything else. 2 presidents have left under a cloud during his tenure. I reckon he’s in strife D17.
  2. I think the ducks are lining up for Steven Smith to take over when he returns from his extended break overseas. I reckon he'll be in situ by rd one next year Very interested to see how the review rates the CEO's performance. I don't think Kate Roffey should be the only one to fall on their sword.
  3. The club was a shambles in 2013 so to be part of the board that took the club from basket case to the flag is highly commendable. Thank you Kate.
  4. NFL

Looks like the chiefs have developed a running game to make it even harder for the chasing pack. high quality game first up. Chiefs, again, will be the team to beat this year.

aggressive play call from harbaugh on 4th and 3. Failed to convert to give the ball back to the chiefs on the halfway line. Ravens D has done well to keep chiefs to 2 filed goals last 2 drives
  7. I got roped into sitting on the board of a member based organisation for 3 years. 500 members so small but it was a pain in the [censored]. there's was always someone complaining.
  8. I reckon you should do the review Luci
  9. If a trade rumour can knock him off kilter again then there’s no hope.
  10. Chris Scott is the best coach in the league. Sickens me to say it.
  11. We have gone back-to-back straight sets exits but at least we go down fighting. Pathetic from Port. And while the coach is part of the problem the senior players in that team have to be seriously questioned.
  12. He's a classic FIGJAM but since he saved those 2 people in Torquay from drowning i can't hate on him like i used to.
  13. I hope @picket fence is holding up ok.
  14. I've engaged the ignore button for a certain poster. I recommend else should do the same.
  15. 2 first rounders is tempting but one would have to be top 5 pick.
  16. wow cameron. that goal is as good as his first one.
  17. i don;t think the cats can play any better. Port need to get to half time and reset
  18. shannon Neale is developing into a good player
  19. he's a very good player and i'm sure he'd tell you that himself as well
  20. decent game
  21. 8 all australian selections is a fair effort
  22. what a goal cameron.
  23. Port have ruined INXS for me
  24. He was a good lad Frosty. Gave his all. I wish him well in the finals (but not the Hawks). I don't miss the small heart attacks he induced in me though.
  25. i went with Carlton but it was a very tough choice between them and the Cats
