I get where you're coming from mate, and footy is definitely not high up on the list in terms of relative importance, but there was a lot of talk last year during the 'big' lockdown about how much it helped people having some footy to watch. Just the sense of normality, the comfort and the distraction. The mental health aspect of this lockdown is pretty huge IMO, even though it's a short one. If we can have footy on, in a COVID safe way, then I think it only benefits people.

Yeah probably, and possibly even walked over to Gosch's with the players. I guess that's what they're investigating now which is why tomorrow's game is still up in the air.

In rehab though, I'm not sure how much he was in direct contact with other players. It might not even be Hore, it's just what some are saying and makes sense given it's obviously a player who's somewhat separate at the moment.

Nah it's not. You may have heard the same as me about The Sporting Globe in Mordi, but I think it's not that one due to the different times. The 'word' going around is it may have been Marty Hore, which is why it's possibly a blessing in a way given he's currently injured and not around the players as much.

I believe this might be due to Max and Gus attending a footy night (might have been one of those "That's good for footy" ones) at The Sporting Globe in Mordialloc, which has been declared a hotspot.

Heard today that police have been advised to be prepared for a lockdown commencing Friday. Obviously 'be prepared' doesn't mean it's 100% happening, but it's clearly very much on the table at the moment.

Sacrifice what exactly though? None of them are huge stats grabbers, they're already meant to be playing pressure roles. Harmes and ANB are already 4th and 5th for tackles.
