I think Sparrow had a pretty ordinary game…. Not the best decisions today. Bowey has settled really well into the side. Forward line looking very functional without TMac although BBB cannot compete on the wing if he’s out of position. I think the midfield battle was interesting Laird, Sloane, Keys and Seedsman were probably the better group tbh - haven’t checked the stats so could be wrong.

In the end it’s why separates Bont from Trac and Oliver. Hate to say it but they are both average kicks. I do like the darts coming from Bowey and Salem off HB though. I look forward to that part of our game blossoming in the coming years.

They are a different side for sure when they don’t have the assistance from the umps. There is nothing wrong with today’s umpiring - they always will miss a few but it has been adjudicated exceptionally well today.

Oh that’s a shame. As much as I can’t stand the Cats, I really liked Stewart - seemed a cut above the rest. That out is going to reshape a settled side with Blicavs probably going back, which is not there preferred position for him.

I think Mitchell will be a good coach but history tell us that Clarko still had 1 more crack at rebuilding a side. I think Clarko as game day and head coach with Mitchell as development and senior assistant would have been lethal but then ego and money will get in the way of most things.

In a standard game I have seen about 10 ‘missed’ frees that would go for the Dogs. I wonder if the fear of Clarkson public lashing has scared them straight - albeit temporarily.

Hopefully the Hawks and Saints get over the line today. We can then sew up top spot with a win over the Crows tomorrow and then rest some players against the Cats.

So our losses come against lesser 22 squads because they get rested against us? Doesn’t sound as good when you put it that way right?

Can be back channeled but ultimately the question on the non call has to be asked. This is more to bring into the spotlight the inconsistency and utter failure of Christiansen and the tribunal process. I know we don’t have the video evidence but from what I have seen the incidents appear to be very similar in nature. Yeo doesn’t get sited whilst people were asking for 6 weeks against Viney. Where are those same people? I watched the Gus n Gawn vodcast today and Brayshaw was visibly irritated at this situation. Obviously he is bound by the players code but I believe the players were quite frustrated with it. Someone like Tom Morris should be all over this.

This club frustrates me. Just heard Lungmuir sticking up for Brayshaw saying he’s not happy with the consistency and yet there is nothing being done that I’m aware of to bring any exposure this. Nothing.

Im for no jab no entry policy if it keeps the finals in Melbourne where home ground advantage is preserved. I dont know how we gloss over the 'home ground' advantage over having crowds... the whole concept of the top 4 and finals is built around home ground advantage. So if we could only get 40+ into a 50% filled MCG, then as a Melbourne (unvaccinated) supporter, i would be all for it. Yes id be gutted not to be able to attend, but not to the point where a team looses its home ground advantage. The GF though, is a whole other matter. Im actually open to the idea of it being hosted in other cities - much like the super bowl. So dont care if its in Perth, Adelaide as long as they provide equal access to non-local vaccinated residents.
