Sorry no inside knowledge, just the language around him seems pretty positive. Certainly wouldn't surprise me if they name him and give him until the last minute to decide. If not this week definitely in a fortnights time.

I must be missing something here. Watching a lot of Carlton games their foot skills are terrible. They have no depth in their midfield. Cripps is banged up, Saad and Williams aren't mids. Jones will be 31 next year, who else is going to hold down a key defensive post? Casboult & Betts are gone, McGovern will never be any good, so their forward is nothing to get excited about. Anyway happy to be proven wrong, and time will tell but I don't see them being a threat for the next 5 years.

Gee they have some over paid crud on their list.  Cerra wont solve their issues. Weitering is the only good back man, andJones has about 1-2 years max. 

The AFL and AFL media keep using the WCE/FREO derby as a case of stating how good crowds are. Hate to break the news but the atmosphere wont be anything like that with two interstate teams. Just let Melb play at the MCG.

Actually think it could be an Essendon V Melb grand final.

What a fantastic acquisition this guy has been, and arguably the most important piece of our premiership tilt. 

I'll have to have a listen. I tuned out of SEN a while back when Dwayne Russell kept asking the same boring questions and you could predict the answer. 

Unless there are further injuries I can't see it happening. Looks like the record by Neitz will stand for a while yet.

With the scrapping of the bye I would say hunt is done for the year.

Everyone remembers Gus' game against Adelaide where he racked up 37 possessions and 3 goals - wouldn't be the worst tactical change come finals time. Looking at what his brother is doing over at Freo, we all know Gus can match it and go one better!

It also allows Tracca to spend more time as that dangerous Dusty-type player up forward as Oliver's midfield workload would be shared with Gus.

Yep. We have to win 2 of 3 to make top 4. O fear that won’t happen. Looks like 5th spot for us. 

I’m really starting to lose interest in the season now. We always get shafted.
