Mahoney should announce the MFC is going to refuse to trade Jesse to Freo on humanitarian grounds Going to that ramble is a danger to anyone's wellbeing!

Official New Rule Changes for 2019
No mention of the 10m protected area as a rule change Or did they just change the rule and stop paying it after the disgraceful Harmes decision at Geelong in Rd18

I've been saying, since pre the 100 page mark, that I think (IMO) the MFC is pushing the Hogan trade (and there is some unstated reasons underlying this - which I don't know) At the same time we are a motivated buyer for May, competing against both Coll, and the 2019 fall back position of GCS That being said we are likely to receive unders for Hogan and pay overs for May - and infuriate a lot of DL posters

It'll be an awkward 2019, but not a bad walk-away position

I did go back through the last 12 drafts and @Demons11 has a good point - 2 picks may be more attractive than 1 higher one, particularly in a 'super draft' year as reports suggest There's always been plenty of great talent in the 7-14 range (barring 2009 which looked a pretty average draft and 2016-17 too early to tell), also a few flops in the top 7. Selwood, Dangerfield, Rioli, Riewoldt, Ziebel, Davis, Sidebottom, Lynch, Greene, Dev Smith, .... etc etc So unsurprisingly it's got a lot to do with ability to pick the talent.

Rumour File
Did Maclure on Trade Radio just say in relation to Preuss to Melbourne trade something along the lines of - It's not widely known but Max Gawn took a pretty significant injury into that final against WCE? If so what was it? Or was he talking about someone else?

SEN played the audio of the 6 seconds of report from Baz numerous times, which was something like " Fremantle has missed out on star forward Jesse Hogan who is set to remain a Demon" - assume it'll be replayed a bit tomorrow morning on Trade Radio 7 News prepared a graphic as per this screenshot of Perth Now story

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Source is unlikely to be Jesse or MFC so pressume Freo have said they've missed out Likely a reaction to high asking price, concerns around foot/other

I sense we've been nudging him out It'll be awkward carrying him for another year with whatever issues exist prevailing in the background fuelling media speculation Plus imagine if it comes out Freo turned him down...
