I was more confident early in the week but I have a feeling the game will be a repeat of our last match against them in the top end. Even with 5 big outs I think they will be too strong for us. Fingers crossed I'm wrong.

We should do whatever we can to retain this bloke and his brother too. Let's not go to crazy town but give him his fair share. The two guys have definitely helped their own cause and good on them because it's helping us win games and win them well.

Roosy must have loved seeing us play on the weekend.

If we're ever lucky enough to be standing on that podium on that one day in September and Barrass isn't available to present us with the cup my second choice would be him.

I would love to take my grandkids to the G one day in the far future and point to the statue of Jonesy and proudly tell them about this warrior.

I think when all is said and done and Jesse career is over he will be considered one of our greats. He has been exceptional this year and he'll only get better. The fact that he has the endurance and the pace for such a big guy is astounding. Couple that with his marking ability and the fact that he has kicked a goal in every game this year makes him the complete package. I will fend off Fremantle with a homemade shiv carved out of a toothbrush if I have to.

The decision the other night was farcical. There is absolutely no consistency in the whole adjudication of this once great game of ours. The powers that be keep meddling with the rules. No one bloody knows which way the wind is blowing week to week. The fish is rotting from the head down and it's starting to stink.

I'd at least give him the next 2 weeks and then he has to start earning his space. I think he has a future and the coaches are preparing him and the team structure for that. These things sometimes take time. Omac was not built in a day.

I love Gus. I'd kiss his helmet if it were socially acceptable. Almost like a new recruit this year.

ANB needs to prove himself in the twos. 15 touches and some terrible finishing is just not good enough. Tyson is frustrating because he can get the ball he just can't hit a target.

I'd keep playing the kid. He can take a mark. His time will come.

I'll admit that when I first saw the footage I thought that he took a delayed staged dive from the "bump". The media have convicted him already. Having a closer look at the footage he appears to be struck in the neck area. I wonder if he didn't play it up a little to get the free but a free was there nonetheless.
