Deep breath mate no need to be hysterical
I think those wishing ACL injuries to opposition players are the ones being hysterical

Because he lined Gawn up from literally the first bounce. He kneed him at every chance. He also kneed Trac.
He is another hack thug who plays with one purpose and one purpose only, to injure his opponent. Our game is so much better than these truly awful footballers who run around like some pseudo thug heroes.
I note Maynard didn’t line up Viney. Because he’s a coward. Likewise Cox. Go for players when they’re open and vulnerable.
Gawn again proved that Cox is nothing but a hack. He destroyed him.Yeah I don’t like either of them as players but I don’t wish them to do career threatening injuries…I guess we are all different though.
Agree that Gawn dominated Cox. He played a great game. -

Gus copping a concussion could also be career ending!
Maynard lined up a guy going into open space running full tilt. In a [censored] helmet because he’s had a long history of head injuries. It was a pathetic thug move.So why do you want Cox to do his ACL?

I would do it again. Maynard is a serial thug. He lines up players. Same with Cox. Bog ordinary footballers who deserve some of their own medicine back.
OK, not going to argue but just think wishing potential career ending injuries is a bit too much.
Hope Gus is OK and able to play in the preliminary

How is that reactionary? We had 32 more inside 50s. We could not score. End of story.
It’s the same issue we’ve had all year.Your comments about wishing players do their ACL next week was what I was referring to

Choked in front of goal
Choked when the heat was on
I wish Cox and Maynard both do their ACL next week. Trash thug hack footballers.
Poor reactionary comments

Trac was great in the second half but also part of tge reason we lost the first with 7 touches. Is a perennial slow starter this year.
Sparrow not sighted in the first hour finished we'll.
Viney strangely quiet.
Could have won but horrible kicking.
Tmac thanks for tge memories.
You too Salo.
Jvr not quite there yet.
Chandler Laurie ditto.
Hunter and Langdon just games.
Hunter played well I thought

Terrible kicking for goal tonight. Gotta go the hard way around now likely through Brisbane if we can win next week. Really hope Port can knock them off

James Sicily…absolute gun and still criminally underrated

Does Steven May take Curnow and Tomlinson to Mackay?

Harmes again…what an awful game by him. Every time he gets the ball he looks for co tact and to fend…just stupid

So Walters is out injured and no-one comes in?
It's not that hard to provide the ins and out guys! I'm sure this means the sub from last week comes in, so we have to go look who was the sub? jesus. just tell us who is in and out of the 22!
I couldn't give a rats about the sub!

Some folk are champing at the bit to resurrect that horrid thread after only one loss. Or even before the final siren when a loss is inevitable.
🙄One 4 point loss to a team now considered to be a premiership threat

You are correct on this matter Picket. This one is a joke. I just do not understand what Lachie is as meant to do except stay away from the ball/ contest in anticipation that Rozee might get there. The game is becoming more and more difficult to understand

Butters has irritated me tonight with his nerdy and punchable face. Would love him in red and blue, kid can play.
Bloody good player though

No so sure about that. McVee is playing the Hunt role from last season and is doing it pretty well. Hibbo does the minding/shut down jobs on medium midfileders/forwards. Bowey is mostly uncontested possessions and has a distributor role. One that Salem has done well in over the years.
Bowey will not be dropped on current form

Was at the game. Hunter is really starting to find his groove in our team. He is a gun and will be huge for us.
So impressed by some of our youngsters -
Rivers, McVee, Bowey, Chandler - take bow!

I dislike Essendon more than any club…well maybe equal with Collingwood.
I hope we embarrass them. We are better than them, as a team and just generally!

Let’s not forget Tom is coming back from injury last yr and will take him a bit to get going.
He and Brown do work well together as he normally takes the number 1 defender and Brown gets the second stringer.
I am worried that now he is out Brown will get the best defender and JVR will get the second stringer. It’s the kids first senior game and we can’t expect too much from him. It’s all good and well talking about his performance in the seconds but let’s hope it t transpires into the seniors for all our sakes.
They also have to worry about Fritta. I’m predicting he will be better for the first up run last week. Still underrated IMO but Bailey is in the top few forwards on the comp…an absolute gun!

We have a good deal to look forward to in the coming month and a bit. JVR in, Kozzie back, May back, Salem almost back, Gawn on the way back, Grundy getting re-settled as a decided talent, JJ coming in, Verral looking ominous, and so the story goes.
You forgot Jefferson.
The glimpses I saw of him in the Casey game were very promising…looks a pure big forward

POSTGAME: QF vs Collingwood
in Melbourne Demons

I think we have one in JVR. Our mids just need to learn how to deliver the ball to his advantage
