Its been said before but you hit the nail on the head again we had a formula in 21 and it was simply devastating. This Formula broke down during 22 when Tmac got injured, Brown's knee was cooked and Jacko's head was all over the place from the money that was thrown at him. 23 we tried to replicate that formula with a few tweaks Petty to the Forward line, Melk in the F50 and Grundy as sharing the ruck and forward load with Max. The Max and Brodie experiment didn't work but we were still in the mix but bad luck struck late in the season with injuries to Petty, Melk, Fritta and the infamous Brayshaw incident. We just need to develop our own or trade for a reserve key position player Patrick Voss style. Maybe Wade Derksen can be our Patrick Voss? Daniher ain't coming back to Melbourne to play. If he does decided to play it will be with Sydney as its a closer commute from his NSW farm. No one wants to come to us even when we were any good as we don't have the cap space to offer big coin and our sh yte facilities. Get real peoples!

2 players need to be moved on for the right draft capital. Either couple from this list. Fritta, Lever, Clarry, Viney, It needs to happen, we need to get back into the 1st round of the draft this year. It hurts, it will hurt but we need top end talent coming through the door yearly. Of those 4 names mentioned Fritta and Clarry hold the most value obviously but a Viney and Lever combo could help Norf culturally.

We don't have enough kickers from the backline to split defensive zones. We don't have the speed to roll and go from D50 to break games open. We are just so stagnate from our defensive half. Bowey is the only player that can kick and slice through a defensive zone on a consistent basis, no one else. That's where the game is at these days every other top 6 team has 3-4 playera that can slice through a zone with speed and foot skills.

Meanwhile Rich have won 5 games for the year and have completely turned their list over.
