I just read the link that old55 posted. Yep makes sense to get him! I like that he has an elite basketball background also. I'm all for drafting him!

I just watched goodys speech. I found it: A) a little defeated. Accepting of not returning to the ultimate goal, accepting we are declining. B) Contradictory. He mentions not focusing on the result (a premiership), but getting pleasure out of the process. But then uses the example of Oscar McInervary. And although Oscar didn't get the premiership medallion the club did. So therefore the 'result' for the club is still indeed a premiership! Did anyone else have similar thoughts?

I think we have enough of the ball to be winning more games but there are players getting a game that do not have AFL standard skills. Mitch Hannan didnt make the distance with a set shot 40m out and JKH never looked like kicking his. Bernie Vince is our best kick for goal especially on the run so why don't we play him forward more? Salem is able to cover his spot with elite decisions and skills (did it while he was suspended ) My team next week is as follows Frost T Mac Nev Wagner Hibberd Salem Hunt Jones Lewis Kent Watts Vince Petracca Hogan Garlett Pedersen Oliver Viney Tyson Trengrove Bugg Melksham Out hannan JKH O mac (all lack the skills required) In kent trengrove melksham (much better skills than the above outs)

Taylor mentioned that we are in the market for a ruck/forward type player. But considering we are likely to offload pick 26 for Hibberd we don't have a lot of ammo for a Vickery or a Tippert type. What are your thoughts on getting Mitch Clark back for a high draft pick we probably wont use or maybe Grimes (if we can still trade him?). We all know what he's capable of and he might just come good for us. I think it's worth the gamble.
