Well I did not mean for it to be a tangent, only that our poor decision making in all aspects of our game around the ground is our biggest problem right now, Gawns injury just the catalyst for exposing them to a much higher degree. TMac went for a mark in that particular contest and had no spatial awareness of the incoming player. I think Gawn size and our clubs undersize is being oversold, Gawns decision making and leadership is probably what's being missed about him the most so far, as is the rest of the lists decision making and leadership being missed with few exceptions.

What was Tmacs excuse for being outmarked by Sicily on the wing when we were up by 1 yesterday that gave away 10 minutes of time in defence and a few goals ? He wasnt undersized. He did not go for a spoil and instead went on the offence. Some seriously bad decision making has been one of our biggest problems. Gawn would've not been outmarked in that situation and nor shouldve TMac.

Aside from the calls for a Bruest or Gunston. What about a delisted player? Lindsay Thomas is currently drawing the ire of Kanga fans for suspension and form and might be delisted at the end of the year. If he was free, why not? He's kicked 322 goals in 200 games. He's currently 29 and maybe has another year or two. I'm glad demonland doesn't have a downvote button after this comment although the Moderators could ban me.

If Hibbo and Melk are looked at as an 800k/yr package, then it really isnt a big deal for our club to offer 800 or more with front loading accounting creativity to get an A grade player like Kelly.

Can somebody explain what kind of player JKH is meant to be? Is he even a small forward? He's obviously short in height, but he has no pace and looks built like a nugget that doesn't use any of his body or throw himself into players. Can't leap very high, and not fast enough to break away when crumbiing. We've already got Petracca in there who is of the bullocking style. Why a small version of him? We obviously need to be stacking the forward line with small forward GOAL SNEAKS as well as a third tall

What exact role was he ever meant to play? He's not a "small" forward, he's like a miniature lazy nugget version of Petracca, without any of the class or tenacity. Could lose some weight if he wants to be dynamic.
