  1. In one more pre season.....
  2. Looking at the pictures of Brayshaw, you've just got to feel for the poor kid, he would've been scared and in agony. Poor mum has had her worries with the boys.
  3. AFL legend Leigh Matthews says Andrew Gaff will be ‘mortally wounded for the rest of his life’ https://thewest.com.au/sport/west-coast-eagles/afl-legend-leigh-matthews-says-andrew-gaff-will-be-mortally-wounded-for-the-rest-of-his-life-ng-b88918880z
  4. Some people are carrying on that badly that it's almost like he's standing trial for manslaughter.
  5. Surely Dion Johnstone is a better option for Buddy?
  6. Correct. Two 8 goal quarters in that game. Q1 8.2 and Q3 8.4 July 25, 2010 @MCG in front of a crowd of 29,374 Melb 22.10.142 Syd 10.9.69 B Green 5 goals, Sylvia BOG with 28 disposals. Followed it up with a draw in R1, 2011 then 6 straight losses by 101 points, 31, 31, 38, 55 and last year a 35 point loss.
  7. Injection program
  8. I went to the Geel v GWS game at Kardinia Park and no word of a lie, there would've been only 12 GWS supporters there, all in the cheer squad behind the goals. If GWS doesn't get success in the next couple of years, they will be a rabble like GC.
  9. I think a couple of you have completely missed what I was saying.
  10. Really not sure why or how I left out Hawks (probably because I hate them, but more likely not enough coffee) Thanks LH
  11. AVB and Hunt could be our september wildcards. Hunt has had a poor year so far which is a shame. Spargo was touted as a potential top 5 pick and I have enjoyed his smart decision making all year. JKHs two way running and repeat sprints have surprised in the last two weeks. AVB will be better for the run and should of booted 2 goals, a good return and blown the cobwebs out, wasn't out of his depth with speed of the game either.
  12. Well if I were Gaff, I'd be paying for it, unsure that'll happen though. Insurance will cover it.
  13. Absolutely, I'm not denying that one bit, I have been very pro-Spargo all year and his decision making is very good. I just think he's getting pushed off the ball too easily, especially in the last month or so.
  14. I think Spargo gets pushed off the ball too easily for finals, will be watching him closely over coming weeks. He can tackle, but he misses plenty also. Needs to bulk up a lot over summer.
  15. I'm not a dentist so can't comment on the dentistry side with modern technology. It will be expensive, that I do know.
  16. Brayshaw broken jaw and can't eat solids for 4 weeks.
  17. Then you also have the issue of if it revolves around a players injury report at the time, club doctors will milk it, umpires dont see everything. Already enough grey areas in the game, just make harsher penalties and fines.
  18. I've said 8, but AFL needs to make a stand so 12 is acceptable also. Stop jumper punches too and make it an automatic 2 weeks suspension, that'll remove it from the game you'd think.
  19. I'm in the no category. The player gets his punishment through suspension. Just make the suspension 15 weeks for any strike and send the message out strong. Too many ifs and maybes, will umpire see it etc. AFL needs to make it an automatic 2 week suspension for any jumper punch also, then it'll stop regardless. It's not soccer.
  20. This time of the year is all about injuries. GWS lost Deledio, Greene and Simpson yesterday, possibly all for multiple weeks. Other than that, they have HWSNBN out and Patton. WCE Kennedy apparently still weeks away and lost Schofield to a hamstring plus Gaff will most likely be gone for the year. COLL Moore did his hamstring to go with their other injuries, should get Howe, De Goey back this week onwards. SYD Hannebery should be back this week and Rohan this week or next. MELB Viney I dont think will play this year, Hibberd can hurry up after he told everyone only one week, Melksham should play this week. Smith out is coverable. RICH Have been Starting to get a couple. Butler, Conca, Graham, Prestia all due to come back within the next 3 weeks. PORT,and GEEL have the best injury lists unfortunately
  21. I'll still take a 71% accuracy, you greedy bastard.
  22. Gerard Whateley wants 12 weeks for Gaff.
  23. AFL website. They have Hannebery as Test and Rohan 2 weeks, which was before this weekends game v Pies. I think our best can win, but I've seen too many letdowns over the years to not get ahead of myself.
  24. Before yesterday, TMAC had kicked 10.4 in the previous 3 weeks. 3.1 v WB 4.2 v Geel 3.1 v Adel He's allowed a bad day I think, he'll get it back on track mate (I hope).
  25. Swans no injuries Saturday night and McVeigh and Jack will be better for the run and Hannebery and possibly Rohan may be back too.
